It had been a month since Aki Ryujin first arrived at the Guardian Camp. The towering trees still swayed lazily in the wind, the sky remained the same soft blue, and the daily drills echoed across the grounds like clockwork. For everyone else, it was just another routine day in the middle of the forest.
But not for Aki. He was wearing his best clothes while looking at the mirror. The strong scent of perfume filled the room. Today he was going to a nearby town with Yuna which was about 30 km from the camp. He was still wandering if everything happening was just a dream.
Yesterday an E-mail dropped to his inbox saying that tommorow is the day when the guardians did the monthly periodic restocking their food, armory, etc. Usually they hired people for the job but this year hiring process took too long resulting in shortage of staff.
As the day was Sunday hence Yuna was made the incharge of choosing the food. Her work was just to go to the town look over the ingredients and choose the best one according to quality and budget. The carrying work was to be done by their butlers. And to look after her was assigned the job of Aki and hence he had to tag along with her.
Aki pinched himself to check if it was all just a dream. He was wondering if he could call it a date while blushing. While there was a knock on the door. He opened the door nervously. There was Yuna in a purple dress which looked cute on her. He then blushed and complimented her with a stammer, "This dress looks good on you." Yuna smiled back to him and replied,"I know." Listening to it somehow his nervousness vanished.
Their butler came and said that the car was ready and it was time to go. They all sat on the limousine and they set off for the town.
They all crossed the forest, the valley, the lake and then reached the town 'Kamisora' straight into the market area and they started looking for different stuffs from the list while the Butlars went to a nearby government office for some paperwork.
They both choose many stuff like rice, vegetables, etc. Their work ended in around 3 hours up to 1pm. They called their butlers who replied that their office work was not yet over and they can use this time to take a brake from the daily robot like routine they had. As the phone ended they both were thinking what to do next until Yuna's stomach growled at that moment. Aki asked her if she wanted to visit a restaurant. Yuna's face glowed. She smiled and asked him to follow as she had heard of a nearby restaurant on television commercials which sold uniqe and rare food. They went there and then order one of the most expensive dishes out there. After that, they went several place like park, shopping market, etc. They bought ton of items there.
After about two hours of fooling around, it was finally the time to go home. They were very tired and just wanted to throw themselves on the bed. Yuna was already sleeping on Aki's sholder. Aki was hardly keeping himself up. On the way home they saw a house burning down in flames and a woman was crying outside that her son was stuck inside. Aki couldn't stop himself and jumped out of the car and rushed down in the house. There he saw a boy stuck and was crying. Aki caught his hand and ran down the hallway to a common area but the roof fell down burning and locked Aki from all sides while he was in the middle the roof over him could fall off anytime.
Aki was thinking of a way to get out of there and at last he closed his eyes and prayed the god for some help. After some time the roof finally fell and it was about to hit them but suddenly it fell besides them and the fire on it blew out. It was like the power he had lost a long time ago had came back to him. They rushed through the building to outside where his mother thanked Aki from botttom of her heart. Aki said it was his job to do so and went back too the car.
Like before they went back on their little journey with the difference that this time Aki was sleeping as well. They passed the same lake, valley, etc. but the vibe was completely different from that of in the morning. From the next day Aki went back to his routine work like training, eating, sleeping.
Meanwhile in the Warden's office the boy that Aki had saved was standing. He said,"I have done my work successfully, sir." The Warden after listening to this smiled, and said," Well done.Aki must have noticed till now that his batch is no longer red, now it's half blue. Now it would be interesting to see how will he survive with that batch at a place where a rumour that 'a person with multiple elements can't achieve a high rank' has been spread by me."
The next day Aki was having his training with Yuna by his private teacher. His face was looking a little off though, actually he was worried about his batch and was creating the infinite possibilities that could happen after everyone finds about his batch colour in his mind.
But the thing he didn't had imagined was going to happen...
His private teacher introduced him and Yuna with a new student, he was the same boy Aki had saved earlier. Aki thought, how did he joined the Guardians after the requitment had ended, and how he got a personal teacher and that too he is with him. Aki asked Yuna about it but she said that she was also as confused as him.
The boy then said while smiling,"Hello, I am Yuta, nice to meet you."
