''…..!'' As though something prickly grazed the nape of her neck, Raven snapped her eyes towards to the window and instinctively sat up straight on the cushion. The jovial and rowdy atmosphere of the people, mostly the commoners, greeted her sight.
However, Raven knew they were not the ones that elicited such reaction from her.
'was it my illusion?' Her eyes narrowed into contemplation. Something in the imperial capital called out to her like a temptation. A familiar feeling that tugged her heartstrings and wanted her to find it instantly.
''Oho? Your senses are quite sharp, my queen.'' The familiar sinister voice overflowing with unending pride sounded in her head.
'...What do you mean?' Following her question was an utter silence, as though his voice was a momentary illusion.
'Lucifer?' Raven took her gaze away and relaxed her weight on the cushion, trying to reach out to the prideful demon in her head.
Silence.
