The two Doxi howled in pain.
One of them lifted her head and spewed scorching flames from her mouth.
But by then, Simu had already moved away, using his overwhelming speed to dodge effortlessly.
Then, raising his hands, he unleashed a barrage of densely packed laser beams, bombarding the monstrous figures before him.
Flashes, flames, and explosions engulfed the two Doxi, driving them to the brink of madness!
This was Simu's strategy—wear them down with his superior speed.
Although the regenerative abilities of the Two-Tails were terrifying, Simu's attacks weren't to be underestimated either.
With a single full-powered kick, he could send a Jōnin flying.
No matter how high the Two-Tails' endurance was, as long as he could keep dealing damage, he could whittle it down to death!
And even if he couldn't kill it, he could always escape if necessary.
Unfortunately, his imitation ability wasn't strong enough.
Otherwise, with Kizaru's level of stamina, he could really grind the Two-Tails to death.

One of them raised a claw at Simu and opened her mouth.
In an instant, an enormous amount of chakra gathered in the air.
One part was a bright blue Yang chakra, the other a deep purple Yin chakra.
The two energies swirled together, merging into a pitch-black sphere inside the demon cat's maw.
"Tailed Beast Bomb? Now that's scary."
Simu still had a carefree smirk on his face.
But the sharp glint in his eyes showed that he was taking this seriously.
"Looks like I might've gone a bit too far this time."
The Tailed Beast Bomb was one of the Tailed Beasts' most devastating abilities.
Even the relatively weaker Two-Tails couldn't be underestimated.
The moment the Tailed Beast Bomb fully formed, Simu vanished in a flash of light.
But he didn't run away.
Instead, he charged straight toward the two Doxi!
Kushina and the others weren't far behind.
At this distance, there was no guarantee they wouldn't get caught in the blast.
So...
The two Doxi—no, Matatabi herself—narrowed her eyes in fury as she saw Simu charging at her.
"DIE!"
At the exact moment the Tailed Beast Bomb was about to be fired—
Simu appeared beneath Matatabi's chin like a ghost.
Suspended in midair, he gathered power, his entire left leg glowing with a dazzling radiance like the sun.
"Tell me, Two-Tails... have you ever been kicked by light?"
A golden light filled everyone's vision.
Simu's foot slammed into Matatabi's jaw with pinpoint accuracy.
The sheer force of the kick sent the massive beast's head snapping back, redirecting the Tailed Beast Bomb.
Instead of blasting the battlefield, the attack was sent hurtling toward the sky!
A pitch-black energy shockwave tore through the thick snow clouds above.
The Tailed Beast Bomb crashed into the sky, blasting a massive hole through the clouds.
And then—
"BOOM!"
The accumulated energy detonated, expanding into a colossal sphere of blue energy!
It was as if the sky itself had exploded!
As the shattered heavens loomed above, Simu calmly put his hands back in his pockets and lowered his foot.
He glanced up, just in time to meet Matatabi's enraged, bloodthirsty glare.
"Guess it doesn't matter if you've never been kicked before..." Simu chuckled. "You've been kicked now."
And then—he disappeared.
Meanwhile, the second tail on the two Doxi's bodies was almost fully formed.
Fortunately, the Jōnin overseeing the exam arrived just in time.
"We need to suppress her—now!"
Doi rushed forward, pulling out a sealing talisman.
"The old man understands," Mifune, the leader of the Land of Iron's samurai, said calmly.
Drawing his long katana, he slashed downward.
A massive surge of chakra erupted from his body, forming a ten-meter-long arc of cutting energy that sliced through the air.
But the two Doxi—and Matatabi—were entirely fixated on Simu.
Even such a terrifying sword strike was completely ignored.
The blade struck Matatabi's body, but she didn't even flinch.
Instead, she crouched low, her muscles tensing.
Her burning eyes scanned the battlefield—searching for Simu's landing point.
Then—
With a tremendous burst of force, the ground beneath her collapsed.
Matatabi shot into the sky like a meteor!
A massive paw came crashing down toward the exact spot where Simu was about to land!
The sheer force of the impact sent shockwaves rippling through the earth, shattering stone and kicking up a massive dust storm.
Just then, Doi arrived.
Taking advantage of the opening, he slapped the sealing talisman onto Matatabi's still-partially-unsealed form.
