The ninja swords in the hands of the two Doxi ignited with blue flames as they glared fiercely at the Konoha forehead protector on Shikaku Nara's head.
"Everyone from Konoha must be eliminated!" one of them growled.
Shikaku muttered to himself, "Damn it... this is all because of that kid, Simu."
He raised his hands in surrender.
"Forget it, we should just give—"
Before he could finish speaking, dozens of concentrated laser beams pierced through the snow-covered forest.
The ice and snow in their path melted instantly.
Like missiles, they tore through the bodies of several Cloud Shinobi with terrifying precision, guided by Observation Haki.
Everyone present widened their eyes in shock.
They all had the same thought:
This is hell.
"Damn it…!"
Among the Cloud Shinobi targeted by Simu, only the two Doxi survived, thanks to their superior reflexes.
The others weren't as lucky.
The moment the lasers pierced their bodies, they continued falling into the snow, and then—
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Countless explosions erupted in the snowy forest, flames soaring into the sky as the ice and snow melted.
In an instant, the entire area was reduced to a burning wasteland by a relentless bombardment from several kilometers away!
"What kind of monster is this guy?!"
Shikaku, having seen the flash of light, immediately recognized the handiwork behind it.
But even knowing that, he still found it hard to believe.
"As expected of Simu!"
Akimichi Choza's eyes lit up with admiration.
"Less talking, more moving! Get us out of here, Choza!" Shikaku commanded urgently.
"Got it!"
Choza's hands expanded rapidly as he grabbed his teammates, then transformed into a Human Boulder, rolling them away from the battlefield.
Despite the heavy bombardment around them, the lasers seemed to intentionally avoid them.
On the other side, Simu stood atop a cloud, continuously firing lasers from his fingertips.
The golden beams rained down, transforming the once snowy forest into a sea of flames!
The raging fire reflected off the thick clouds above, dyeing the sky a deep red.
"This is terrifying… Is he even human?"
Even though he had mentally prepared himself, Uchiha Fugaku couldn't help but voice his disbelief.
Minato, standing calmly on the ground, watched the spectacle unfold with an unreadable expression.
He really wanted to say, "This is nothing. I've seen worse."
"Simu, stop bombing already! You're going to kill us at this rate!"
A large rolling mass shot out from the burning forest.
Choza unrolled mid-air, deactivating his jutsu, and with a loud thud, the three of them landed right in front of Simu and the others.
A massive white bear tilted its head curiously at them.
Kushina patted its paw reassuringly.
"Don't worry, he's our pet now."
The Great Pyrenees eagerly licked her face, rubbing against her affectionately.
Though it wasn't particularly smart, it could still recognize who was in charge here.
"You guys are really weird..."
Shikaku could only shake his head at the sheer absurdity of Simu's team.
What was supposed to be a life-threatening Jōnin Promotion Exam had turned into nothing more than a winter outing for them.
But upon seeing Uchiha Fugaku and Mikoto standing nearby, Shikaku finally felt relieved.
At least it wasn't just his team being carried.
After nearly five minutes of continuous bombardment, Simu finally stopped, casually blowing the smoke off his fingertips.
He turned to Shikaku and said,
"Every Cloud Shinobi is built like a damn monster. If I don't go all out, we won't get anywhere."
Shikaku could only sigh.
He wasn't sure whether having a teammate like Simu was a blessing or a curse…
But for Cloud Shinobi, it was definitely a disaster.
The moment Simu ceased his attacks, the proctors overseeing the exam rushed in to rescue the wounded.
Simu had been careful—not a single Cloud Shinobi had been killed.
At most, they'd have to rest in a hospital bed for half a year.
Just as Konoha's team thought the battle was over—
A violent, monstrous aura erupted from the sea of flames.
"The fight isn't over yet," Simu murmured, standing up once more.
But his hands remained in his pockets.
"HANYU SIMU!"
The voices of the two Doxi roared like those of wild beasts.
Their Chakra, radiating pure violence and malice, surged through the air.
A fierce shockwave tore through the burning forest, parting the flames and revealing a straight path leading directly to Simu.
"What the hell is that?"
Minato's expression turned serious as he stared at the dark blue figure standing at the end of the passage.
A terrifyingly ominous presence weighed down on everyone's chests.
Kushina stiffened for a moment.
She recognized that aura—it was eerily similar to the Nine Tails.
Uchiha Fugaku's Sharingan activated on its own, locking onto the figure cloaked in blue flames.
"DIE!"
The two Doxi had completely lost themselves to rage.
The dark blue Chakra, laced with ominous black markings, manifested physically, flowing across their bodies like living armor.
A massive tail, covered in those same black markings, sprouted from behind them, swaying aggressively.
Simu studied their transformation, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
"They still have some control left," he mused.
"That means their mental defenses haven't fully collapsed yet."
Then, with an exaggerated grin, he said,
"Well, well… Two-Tails Matatabi, huh?"
"How terrifying."
