Aria's pov
I returned to the chamber late at night. After I left the embroidery class, I walked around the garden.
I realized I had never been there and took my time to bask in the smell of fresh flowers. I plucked a rose and lifted it to my nose to sniff it.
The scent calmed me down. I looked around the garden and felt calmed by the gentle breeze flowing through it. It made all the scents get to my nose and I loved it.
I remember how they wanted me to tend to the garden and sighed, settling on a makeshift bench.
I don't know how long I stayed there till it was time to retire. I dismissed my maid telling her I didn't need her assistance in going back.
I got to the room and sighed when I didn't see Eadric there. I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I guess I imagined he would be waiting for me to rub my feet and ask about my day.
I might be getting in over my head about this arrangement. It might not mean such to him after all.
