Aria's pov
He gave me his hand. I took it, I got the bowing part right and I waited for him to take a step in which I followed. He twirled me and a little laugh escaped me when I turned safely.
The twinkling in his eyes told me that he was enjoying this as much as I was. He dipped me and brought my back up much to my chagrin.
"You are right, it is easy,"
"I told you,"
If this was how it feels to dance, I wanted to keep doing it everyday. Or he made it look easy because I was comfortable with him? Either way, I wasn't so sure.
I was so sure now that he knew I had learnt the ropes that he would let go but he kept swinging me.
I didn't want this moment to end so I followed his lead.
"You are not bad, I like dancing with you," he whispered into my ear as he dipped me down.
His hand held my waist firmly so I didn't fall but we never broke eye contact in the midst of it all.
It had changed. Somewhere between teaching me how to dance and assuring me, it had changed to this.
