After finishing the last bite of his meal, Micah leaned back slightly, rubbing his stomach with a satisfied sigh. Across from him, Darcy quietly wiped his mouth with a napkin and spoke. "I have to go meet my professor." He stood up and adjusted the strap of his bag.
Micah paused mid-reach for his drink, then looked up at him and gave a short nod.
Darcy smiled. "I'll see you later."
Micah waved him off as Nick returned after placing the empty trays in the back. "Alright, we will go around looking for Emile," he said, already pulling Micah from his seat.
Darcy watched them go and turned toward the engineering building.
"Hey, hey... Why do I have to come?!" Micah protested as Eddie joined them. "He'll probably start crying the second he sees me!"
Nick rolled his eyes. "Let's deal with it. He will apologise to you and your friend, and you will let this go! End of the feud, clear the air. Easy."
