Micah followed Darcy with a sulky expression like a child being dragged away from his favourite toy. His sneakers dragged across the polished dormitory floor, and every few steps, he huffed dramatically.
"What's the matter? Still upset I didn't let you fight that guy?" Darcy chuckled, noticing how grumpy Micah looked.
"Yeah! How could he say that?! I should have knocked some sense into him! You were just helping me! Ahh…. the more I think about it, the angrier I get...!" Micah stomped his foot.
"I don't care about his misunderstanding. It's your first day. I didn't want you getting into a fight with your roommate because of me," Darcy said.
"You are way too considerate... Tsk…" Micah mumbled.
Darcy walked ahead, leading the way to Room 422 with a smile on his face. When they finally arrived, he turned the key and pushed the door open.
The moment Micah stepped in, he felt it. The air was different, quieter and heavier.
