The wolf paused when he heard those words. He let out a low growl, contemplating his best steps.
"Come with me, I'll take you to the alpha, but be warned, he is not an easy wolf to please. He will protect the pack with his life," the wolf said and began leading the way.
They followed closely behind and made it to the large entrance of the cave. As soon as they walked in, they could see glowing eyes staring at them from the darkness of the cave, piercing into their souls.
"Don't stare back. The wolves can determine if you are a threat from looking at you and decide to attack for the sake of the pack," the wolf leading said calmly.
"But shouldn't they receive some sort of punishment for that?" Aric asked.
"They will. Doesn't mean you will not get wounded, does it?" the wolf asked.
He led them deeper into the cave, where some crystals in the walls of the cave gave a dim light, giving the cave its own unique characteristics.
