Sorry for not updating in a while.Life kinda fucked me. I had to study and take finals. Got accepted into a university (finally), so I'm transferring from community college. Switched majors too, from Accounting to Criminal Justice.
Basically, I realized sitting behind a desk crunching numbers for hours just isn't for me.
So yeah, I need to submit some paperwork, find a cheap apartment close to the new school, and all that fun stuff. Which means... yeah, it might be a bit before I drop another chapter.
BUT when I do, I'm going full redo mode on this story.I've said that before, yeah, I know—but this time I mean it.
Also, real talk, the whole ticket system? Kinda ass. It's confusing and just doesn't work that well, especially when you have to read like 2 pages of info. So I'm changing it to a wish system.
How it works:
You get one wish a week, which is like a roll/spin.
That wish is an item that literally spawns next to the MC at midnight (like 11:59 pm = nothing, but boom midnight hits, and the wish appears).
The wish is like a little star the MC has to compress to get the item/power/thing.
Kinda like a lucky block from Minecraft, but cooler (hopefully).
I'm still debating whether to call it "Wishes" or just lean into the Lucky Block. Let me know what sounds better.
Missions?Might scrap them. Unless you guys actually like that feature, then I'll keep it.
Big changes coming:
The system's getting overhauled.
The story will mostly stay the same, but with more stuff added in-between scenes.
I'll probably write more in third-person or from other character POVs.
I do like the world-building so far, but the plot? Yeah, kinda trash. No suspense, not enough character work, and moments. Gonna fix that.
That club subplot? Probably axing it unless I find a way to actually make it good.
I want to add more slice-of-life vibes while still keeping the adventure stuff.
Oh and don't worry the Sonic Quill stays. Just tweaking it so the character eventually gets to use it.

And more cool crossover/random gear
This rework's gonna take time... but eh, whatever. I've got time. (Not really—but I'll make it work.)
I'll just re-upload the new chapters here when they're ready. I might keep the old versions as their own thing, or just mark them as outdated chapters—still deciding.
Anyway, if you've got any ideas or stuff you want added, just hit me up.The MC is still an artist and musician, btw. I'll expand on his old life, but not all at once. I'm gonna drip feed that in slowly, not dump it all in chapter one.
