Third person point of view
Krishna was reading a book when Vasu entered while talking to someone. He sat beside Krishna and put the phone facing him. Krishna didn't know what it was. " She is Latha ". Vasu said and Krishna realized. " Namaste ". Krishna greeted and Latha greeted back. Vasu put the phone so that the both of them would be seen.
" So you finally got him ". Latha said, making Vasu laugh. " Yeah ". Krishna didn't know what to say. " They said they want to come here for holidays. What do you say ? " Vasu asked and Krishna nodded. " You are always welcome ". Latha smiled. Vasu talked a little more and hung up. He saw Krishna had gone back to reading his book.
" Just so you know, we are just friends. Before and after divorce too, it was the same. In fact, when she liked her husband when he wasn't still her husband back then, she called me for advice ". Krishna was surprised. That would mean they really didn't like each other in that way at all. He nodded.
" Mind coming with me ? " Krishna raised an eyebrow. " Where ? " " You will know if you come ". Vasu said and took Krishna with him. They went to the back of the house and walked a little. There was a big heap of hay. Vasu took him to the other side where no one could see them and put Krishna against it.
Krishna was bewildered. " What are you thinking of doing ? " He scolded in a hushed voice. Vasu smiled. " We did a lot of things back then like this ". Krishna felt his face heat up. He looked away. " That was back then ". He said in a small voice. " Why not now ? " Krishna was about to protest but Vasu moved closer.
Krishna was stupefied. " Just a kiss. We can go back after that ". Vasu whispered and kissed him. Krishna also closed his eyes and kissed back. They pulled away. Krishna pushed Vasu away and quickly walked away with a red face. Vasu chuckled and followed him back into the house.
The situation at home wasn't that good. Aravind's father still ignored him. His mother and Atharva were supporting him. Aravind could only let his heart sink but he didn't say anything. They also finished all the preparations for their University abroad. They also got the visa approved. They got the plane tickets and were all set.
As days went by Aravind only became more silent. Dev was worried about him. " Aru~ " Aravind looked up at Dev. Dev extended his arms. Aravind hugged him and buried his face in his neck. " Let it out ". Dev said and that was all it took to push Aravind to the limit. He wailed once again till he felt like his head was about to split.
He drank some water and washed his face. " Should I talk to him ? " Dev asked and Aravind shook his head. There were 10 days left for their flight. Aravind waited for his father to come home. When he came, he ignored Aravind and walked to go to his room. " Nanna, I have something to tell you ". His father stopped.
He turned back around and sat down on the sofa. Aravind sat on the chair and took a deep breath. " I don't know what you see it as. But for me it is not something I am doing for fun. It is not a phase and it is not a disease. I love him, as in love kind of love. I want to share my life with him. He also is the same. I get that you don't want to believe it or accept it, but I am willing to wait. I will wait for your acceptance. I will be leaving soon and you need not see me anymore. Just so you know, I will definitely miss you a lot ".
Aravind wiped away the tear from the corner of his eyes. He got up and went to his room. His father just sat there for a few minutes and then went to his room. Aravind packed little by little the next few days. Time passed by quickly and it was the day they should leave. Dev wanted to go to talk to Aravind's father.
He went up to the door after gathering his courage but couldn't knock. Aravind was sitting with his mother and Atharva. His father opened the door to walk out. Dev froze when he saw him walk out and took two steps to the side. He gulped in fear. He watched as Aravind's father closed the door and walked up to him.
" Go inside ". He said and walked away. Dev stood there frozen for a few seconds. He then moved his feet and walked in. The people inside were shocked. " Why did you come inside ? " Aravind asked looking worried and shocked. " Your father just told me to ". Dev said and the three were shocked once again.
They just waited for him to come back. The door opened and all of them looked up at him. He walked up to Aravind and Aravind stood up. His father handed him a cover. He opened it and saw his favorite dairy milk in it. His eyes welled up and he hugged his father tightly. His father also hugged him back and patted his back.
" I am sorry ". Aravind pulled away and shook his head. He wiped away his tears and laughed. " I understand ". His father smiled and wiped his tears away. " I hope you will take good care of him ". He told Dev. Dev nodded. " I will... Mavayya. I can call you that right ? " Aravind was flabbergasted while the others laughed.
He hit Dev on his back. Dev turned to Aravind's mother to complain. " Atthayya ". His mother turned to Aravind and hit him on the back lightly. " Don't hit him. Okay alludu ? " Dev grinned. He went home and told his parents about it. " Who would've thought that we would become in-laws ? " Dev's father said. " I know right ". Aravind's father agreed.
The two of them could only act like they didn't hear anything. They all went to the airport. Even their gang came to send them off. They took blessings from their parents, gave hugs to their friends and went to board the flight. The only things Aravind did on the flight was eat and sleep. The past few days were torture to him. So he wanted to rest well.
