Third person point of view
Krishna was informed about the new bank manager. So he arranged a stay for him at his house temporarily. The driver went to pick the manager up at the railway station. Krishna was sitting in the living room when he heard them walking in. He put the newspaper away and stood up. As soon as he saw him, his smile gradually vanished.
Vasu walked up to Krishna. " It's been a while ". Krishna didn't have anything to say. The servant came up to show Vasu to his room. He carried the luggage and the three went to the room. Krishna sent the servant away after he placed the luggage aside. Vasu looked around the room. Krishna took a deep breath.
" What are you doing here ? " " I am the new bank manager ". " There will be a house arranged for you. So you can shift there in the next few days. It will be inconvenient for your family ". Krishna informed and turned around to walk away. " I have no family ". Krishna stopped in his tracks when he heard those words.
He could hear Vasu walking closer and stopping behind him. Vasu looked at him and did not ask him to turn around. " How have you been ? " Krishna didn't answer and just left. Vasu sighed. He didn't find Krishna again throughout the day. He finished dinner and went to his room. He saw a servant walk by and called him.
The servant said that Krishna came back. " Where is he ? " The servant gave him the directions. Vasu went to find him in his office room. He knocked on the door and Krishna turned around. Vasu walked in and sat in front of Krishna. " If you are- " " I am here to win you back and I am not going anywhere. I am staying right here and in your house ".
Krishna had nothing to say. He pursed his lips. " I waited ". Vasu said and looked up meeting eyes with Krishna. " I waited for you to call me at least once ". Krishna looked away. " I heard you were married ". " I am divorced ". Krishna was shocked. " Within one year ". Krishna blinked not knowing how to feel.
" Why ? " " We both never liked each other ". Krishna didn't know what to say. Vasu continued to explain. " Both of us were forced by our parents to get married. We just lived like roommates doing our own things. It went on like that for a year. We understood it was not right for either of us and got divorced on mutual understanding ".
Krishna nodded but still did not talk. Vasu sat up straight. " I was too cowardly back then. But now I have nothing to lose. So I am going to start courting you again ". Krishna looked flustered. " You need not- " " Who are you to say no ? Don't give me an answer even before you actually let me do it ". Krishna stood up, wanting to walk out.
Vasu also got up and pulled him close by his arm. Krishna stared with wide eyes. " What do you think you are doing ? " " Flirting with you ". " Do you think you are still a teenager ? " " When we were of that age you did fall for my tricks so I am expecting the same now. Don't worry they are all upgraded ".
Krishna opened his mouth not able to say anything. He pulled his arm away and left. Vasu smiled and went to his room. For the next week, he did everything he could to win Krishna's heart again. Krishna couldn't take it anymore. He would be wrong to say his heart wasn't swayed. Vasu was the only person he has ever loved in his whole life and wanted to be with.
And that person was pining over him all over again and he had mixed emotions about it. Vasu walked into the office and closed the door. Krishna let out a sigh. He stood leaning against the table. Vasu stood in front of him. Krishna wanted to speak but Vasu held his face and kissed him. Krishna didn't even move a muscle due to the shock.
Vasu kissed harder making Krishna blink. He also slowly kissed back. When they pulled away, Vasu noticed the tears running down Krishna's face. He hugged Krishna tightly. " I am sorry ". Krishna cried and hugged Vasu back. " Me too ". They pulled away and Vasu wiped away his tears. Krishna took a deep breath. Vasu stroked his cheeks.
" There is no need to feel bad for the past. It wasn't that easy back then ". Krishna nodded and smiled. " I am considering that you accepted my heart ". Vasu declared and Krishna chuckled. " Can I stay with you now ? " Krishna was confused. " You are right ? " " I mean in your room ". Krishna shook his head. " No way ". He quickly walked out.
Vasu followed him. Krishna slammed the door on Vasu's face. " I already got into your heart. Getting into your room should not be that difficult ". Krishna was flustered. Vasu walked away to his room. Dev called Vasu and spoke to him about the progress. He was happy when he found out about it. Vasu was also very thankful to Dev.
