The world of this novel is set in a normal modern society but with some differences.
There are magics in this world and the awakened humans. These awakened humans can get a job related to their power.
This job makes them known as 'Irregular Hunters'. What's the job if an Irregular Hunter? They enters a purple portal that appears around the cities or the world. This portals are known as 'Gates'.
Gates varies in sizes, colors and how strong the mana they emit. The bigger, the darker the color and the more mana a Gate emits, it means that the Gate is harder and have a higher rank.
Irregular Hunters also have a ranking system. The weakest being E-rank. And the strongest being S-rank. Well.... There's one more rank that sets all of these normal ranks apart from itself. 'International'. People who have the International Rank are considered a strong individual because they are capable of defending a whole city if not a country by themselves
There are five major countries with the highest firepower of Irregular Hunters. Those countries being the US, South Korea, Japan, Russia and Malaysia.
These countries are considered the major countries because of the amount of high ranking Irregular Hunters that exist in these countries exceeded any other countries in the world.
