A loud gasp escaped my lips as my chest lifted slightly before falling back on the soft sheet beneath me.
My eyes flung open as I tried to control my breathing.
"Ingrid?"
At the call of my name I quickly looked to my left to find Hui with Clarice standing beside him.
For a moment I couldn't understand why they were here or what had happened.
When I tried to get up, Hui quickly came to assist me. Once I sat upright, I ran my fingers through my hair as I tried hard to remember.
"How are you feeling?" Clarice thoughtfully asked.
"I feel like I did something significant but I can't remember," I said and looked at her for explanation.
When she hesitated to respond, Hui spoke up.
"You showcased your power to your fans but down the line, something strange happened. You weren't yourself anymore."
I blinked at him in confusion but he didn't stop there.
