"I am Isshiki Ōtsutsuki,

A noble member of the main house of the Ōtsutsuki clan.

A thousand years ago, I was tasked with planting a tree in a remote star system. I brought along a servant from a branch family.

It is strictly forbidden for members of the Ōtsutsuki clan to harm one another—this is an ironclad law of the Ōtsutsuki.

But I was ambushed. My body was split in two, leaving me on the brink of death.

However, fortunately, that servant's combat abilities were not exceptional, allowing me to fake my death and escape.

But this is my shame. I cannot return to Takamagahara in disgrace to report my failure. I must kill her on this planet.

Ōtsutsuki Kaguya!!!"

"To plant a tree on a planet requires activating the Ten-Tails' Divine Tree state. This process demands the sacrifice of an Ōtsutsuki's physical body. For this reason, missions are typically carried out by pairs of Ōtsutsuki—one to activate the Divine Tree and the other to protect the Ten-Tails in its Divine Tree state.

However, thanks to the great Ōtsutsuki deity, those consumed by the Ten-Tails do not die but using a technique known as 'Kama', as long as a suitable body is found, they can possess it and be reborn.

But this primitive and remote planet lacks bodies of sufficient quality for me to possess. My current strength is far from my peak, while that wretched Kaguya consumed the fruit of the Divine Tree, surpassing me in overall power. I dare not act rashly, so I have been biding my time.

To this end, I established the Kara Organization using the natives of this planet.

The divine techniques I possess include...

The location of Takamagahara..."

At this moment, Isshiki Ōtsutsuki stood there with a vacant stare, spilling intelligence nonstop.

Beside him, Zhuqing gazed at Ye Wen with reverence. The mesmerizing technique Ye Wen had used was something even her own Underworld Goddess lineage could perform, but due to her lack of talent, she hadn't yet mastered such skills.

Meanwhile, Ye Wen listened with great interest. No wonder the Ōtsutsuki were a terrifying race capable of planting trees across the stars without restraint—their technology truly benefited him immensely.

Even though Isshiki Ōtsutsuki's combat strength barely reached Tier 3 godhood, his divine techniques and skills rivaled those of Tier 2 or even Tier 1 gods. Such was the allure of a technologically advanced civilization.

Mass-producing powerful individuals through replicable methods was impressive, but precisely because of this, if war were to break out unprepared, Ye Wen's side would likely suffer heavy losses.

Finally, Ye Wen focused his attention on the black markings covering Isshiki Ōtsutsuki's body.

These were the "Kama."

They were the secret behind the Ōtsutsuki clan's ability to resurrect after death.

Even though Ye Wen guided Isshiki Ōtsutsuki into revealing specific details about the "Kama," he only understood them superficially. He was merely a user of the "Kama," not its creator.

Nevertheless, Ye Wen had gained significant insight.

With just a few modifications, the knowledge extracted from Isshiki Ōtsutsuki could become a foundation for Douluo.

Ye Wen took out a jade slip, copied the extracted intelligence onto it, and handed it to Zhuqing.

"Take this information back to the intelligence division. Have the strategists prepare for the upcoming war. I'll stay here to continue studying this individual."

"Yes!"

As Zhuqing transformed into a streak of black light and disappeared into the horizon, Ye Wen began thoroughly dissecting Isshiki Ōtsutsuki.

Isshiki Ōtsutsuki was, at his core, a fighter, not a researcher. Extracting core intelligence about the technologically advanced Ōtsutsuki clan from him was unrealistic, so Ye Wen had to take matters into his own hands.

This kind of highly technical research wouldn't yield results quickly, which was why Ye Wen had sent Zhuqing back first to begin preparations for the war.

After all, the Ōtsutsuki reconnaissance fleet would arrive in a few decades.

To catch such a greedy and ruthless race off guard, early preparation was essential.

War was often fought over intelligence. To gain an advantage, every detail mattered.

As Ye Wen delved deeper into his research, his expression grew increasingly serious.

The technology possessed by the Ōtsutsuki clan was undoubtedly cutting-edge.

The "Kama" primarily consisted of high-density chakra, supplemented by specialized picometer-scale nanobots.

However, the most crucial element—life force—was entirely absent. Chakra extraction relied not only on reserves but also on squeezing the potential of this body.

"Is this the ultimate secret of the Ōtsutsuki? Digital life?"

Upon reaching this conclusion, Ye Wen was shocked. Though he had anticipated encountering silicon-based civilizations akin to the Transformers in the future, he never expected his first encounter with such a concept would come from the Naruto world, which he had grown up with.

Ye Wen then reflected carefully.

Though he hadn't watched many episodes of Boruto, a show he considered unwatchable, he was well aware of the intelligence regarding battles with the Ōtsutsuki clan.

Aside from Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, all other named members of the Ōtsutsuki clan shared a peculiar trait in their names:

Isshiki, Toneri, Urushi, Kinshiki.

The more Ye Wen thought about these names, the more they seemed like codenames.

Could it be that the so-called main house of the Ōtsutsuki clan had been replaced by artificial intelligence, becoming a new form of digital humanity?

Now, the possibility seemed quite high.

At this moment, Isshiki Ōtsutsuki regained his composure.

His eyes filled with fear as he looked at Ye Wen, wanting to flee but finding all his chakra completely locked down. At this point, he was no stronger than an ordinary human with slightly enhanced physical abilities.

Ye Wen scrutinized Isshiki Ōtsutsuki once more. Truly, he was a brutal individual.

He treated life as nothing more than a disposable tool.

After a series of operations, there was no longer any valuable intelligence left on Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. With a snap of his fingers, Ye Wen sealed him away.

"That concludes the intelligence gathering on the main house of the Ōtsutsuki clan. Now, it's time to find the branch family."

Ye Wen glanced up at the darkened sky, where a bright moon hung against the clear expanse.

The reason the Sage-level beings were classified as Tier 3 gods was that at this level, they possessed the power to reshape the heavens and the earth. This seemingly inconspicuous artificial moon demonstrated the vast difference in power between Sage-level beings and those below them.

Moon · Ōtsutsuki Territory –

On the moon lived descendants of the Byakugan bloodline from a thousand years ago. Their surname was passed down from the ancient goddess of the rabbit.

The domineering Ōtsutsuki clan, even in this desolate corner of the universe, had developed a system of main and branch families.

But as the saying goes, when an ordinary man is pushed to his limits, he will lash out violently.

Where there is oppression, there will inevitably be resistance. Even those with strong submissive tendencies may rise up in desperation when cornered.

And now, the main house of the Ōtsutsuki clan was reaping what they had sown.
