While Antares was resting in his chamber, the news of him waking up had reached all the corners of the ant tribe, men, women, children,old and young alike were very excited about the awakening of their king
But most of them were surprised was that he had completely recovered from the mana pollution and was doing fine because there was no record of someone surviving the mana pollution in any continent.
"Have you heard the news?" asked a woman inside a sturdy clay hut who was seated on a straw bed while breastfeeding a baby.
"About what this time? I hope this is not from your gossiping sessions with your friends, you should use your energy to look after our children." the man said while pointing at the children who were playing outside.
"Listen to me husband, apparently the king has woken up and recovered fully" the woman said while giving her husband a playful wink.
"I heard from the workers working in the tribe's agricultural sector managed by lord Ian." Said the man while ignoring his wife, he had grown accustomed to his wife gossips and he secretly enjoyed them though he never said it to his wife's face because he knew it would cause more harm than good.
"I am sure he will improve the situation of our tribe dear."Said the wife.
"He first has to recover completely because I heard that he might still be weak and tired which would be understandable after what he went through." said the man while looking at his children playing outside.
"Well, I'm sure that this is just the beginning of a great future for our tribe." Said the woman as she happily laid her baby beside her on the straw bed.
Meanwhile inside the king's personal chamber, Antares had woken up from his sleep.
"Hmmmmm, I think I can live like this" Antares said as he was looking at himself in the mirror.
In the mirror Antares could see a tall man about 5"11 feet tall, well built and muscular giving him a commanding presence, he had long, spiky and wild black hair that reached down to his lower back, he had light brown skin with blood red eyes, a well-defined nose and a handsome face.... a bit to handsome at that.
"if I go back to my old world, I'm sure I can put all top models and movie stars to shame." Antares said as he was flexing in the mirror.
As he was looking at himself in the mirror, he could notice the small resemblance he had with Antarion though they were small but they were surely noticeable. Like his blood red eyes that gave the impression of starring in a pool of blood.
As he was still looking at his new appearance, he remembered what the voice had told him about his new abilities and strengths, what he wanted to try the most was to bring out the unique physical features of the ant tribe like the glowing red antennas
As soon as he thought about them, two red glowing antennae came out of his head and they were emitting a warm aura that spread across the room.
"Ouchy, that stings damn it." Antares said so as he was rubbing his temples.
He walked back to his bed and was now seated cross-legged on his bed. He noticed on that with the antennae he had sharpened senses and could sense the presence of whatever that was near him like the two guards outside his door.
He closed his eyes and tried to focus in order to test the limit of his newfound power, and he came to the conclusion that he was in a castle like building with a tower in the middle of it, with the help of his newfound senses he could determine the approximate location of everyone in the ant king's castle.
He noticed that some had a stronger presence while others had a weak or almost insignificant like presence. As he was still looking through the castle with his new ability, he noticed a particular presence that he recognized a bit too well.
It was Zarah his personal maid and attendant. It seemed like she was moving at a great speed but often stopped at some places in the castle. It would seem she was monitoring everything that was happening in the castle, from the maids and cooks to the few ant soldiers scattered in the castle.
After some time of using his ability, Antares got a painful headache and blood came out of his nose, he retracted his red glowing antennae and wiped the blood coming out of his nose using the sleeve of his robe.
"I guess I reached my limit." Antares said as he was wiping the blood coming out his nose.
He glanced at the door and called for the guards stationed outside his room." You two, come here" his voice firm and commanding.
The two guards outside instinctively knew that he was calling them, it was as if it was in their blood and nature to obey each one of his commands.
Directly the two guards entered Antares' room, came before him, kneeled and bowed deeply.
"Your Majesty, your loyal servants stand before you." The two guards said at the same time.
"Cough" Antares gave a soft cough because he was a bit embarrassed because nobody in his past life had addressed him as such, but he was very pleased by their answer.
Antares looked at them closely and noticed that these two guards had identical faces and armor, if it wasn't for their different hairstyles where one had short black curly hair and the other had black braided hair that reached his shoulders.
Suddenly two screens of made of red light similar to those he was seeing when the voice was telling him about the world he was in, appeared before him.
