Far from the battlefield, Uchiha Shin reappeared beside Tsunade, staring at the distant explosion with a sour expression.
Tsunade blinked, confused by his sudden arrival.
"Xiao Shin? What the hell happened? Are you hurt?!"
Without waiting for an answer, she instinctively activated her medical ninjutsu, channeling chakra into her hands as she reached for him.

"That looked like Susanoo just now," Tsunade crossed her arms. "Why the hell are you fighting your own clan?"
Shin shrugged. "I'll explain later. Just keep things under control until I get back."
With that, he disappeared in a flash.
"Hah? That little shit! Ordering me around…" Tsunade grumbled, but despite her complaints, she turned and headed toward the Uchiha compound.
Meanwhile, Shin pushed his speed to its absolute limit, streaking across the sky toward a concealed cave in the forest.
Kato Dan, still in spirit form, sensed Shin's presence immediately.
"How?!"
Panic flared in Dan's mind. He knew that location—his real body was hidden there.
Without hesitation, he abandoned all distractions and rushed back at full speed.
But he was too late.
With a deafening crash, Shin obliterated the cave entrance with a single punch, sending debris flying in all directions.
Inside, Kato Dan's physical body lay motionless, encased in a protective barrier.
Shin scoffed. "Pretty solid defenses. But do you really think that'll help?"
Among the shinobi world's masters of barrier ninjutsu and sealing techniques, Shin was confident he ranked near the top.
"Barrier Release!"
With a simple hand motion, he struck the weak point of the barrier, shattering it instantly.
"NO!"
Kato Dan's soul screamed in sheer terror.

Shin smirked. "Looks like you just lost, Dan."

Dan's technique rendered him immune to most forms of attack, but Susanoo was no ordinary defense. Formed from pure chakra and ocular power, it had the ability to repel and harm spirits.
His already fading soul began to disintegrate faster, scattering like dying embers in the wind.
Uchiha Shin wiped the blood off his fingers, unfazed. "One less nuisance."
He stepped out of the ruined cave, stretching his neck.
Dan let out one last, hollow request before vanishing completely.
