The maids rushed out of the tent, but I couldn't even process what was happening. His lips crashed into mine, stealing my breath and all the questions I had. His hands were in my hair, then down my back, fumbling for the zipper of my dress.
I didn't hold back. I opened my mouth, letting him in. His tongue met mine and it felt like the world faded away. Nothing had ever felt this right—being wanted by the man I loved with such raw need.
I was still confused, but his hunger for me made my body respond. He kissed me like he was starved, and the way he sucked on my tongue sent heat rushing through me.
His hands slipped under my dress, and I couldn't stop the way my body trembled. My heart raced as his touch grew bolder. He grabbed my thighs, firm and possessive, then moved to my neck, biting softly, and I melted into him.
I had no control over what was happening—or what I was feeling. I just gave in.
