Ignatius Leclair returned to the Leclair residence, and the first thing he did was to take a bath and change clothes.
Delphine moved all the cat supplies she had brought back from the Squire Family to the veranda in the courtyard, placing them next to the dim yellow ground lamp. She then built a temporary shelter for the two kittens, fed them, and finally returned to the side hall.
"Miss Delphine, Mr. Leclair isn't very fond of pets," the old butler cautiously said. "Perhaps we could set up the cat shelter near the wine cellar and assign someone to take care of them?"
Delphine indeed had no experience raising pets and didn't know how to care for kittens. Upon hearing this suggestion, she nodded and said, "That will be troublesome for you, but please ask someone to look after them. It's too late tonight; if the kittens are moved again, I'm afraid they'll be scared."
"Understood." The old butler smiled, relieved that she didn't insist on keeping the cats indoors.
