I steadied my grip on the fire extinguisher and held it in one hand, trying not make any noise. I took out my cellphone which I'd put in my trouser pocket.
As quietly as I could, I moved closer to the entrance of the passageway and put my phone in the open area but not too much that it would be visible to the person walking.
I look at the reflection in the screen once again as I had done on the escalator and try to make out the figure in the reflection. I tried remembering what he looked like in the café so I knew what I was looking for.
I saw a large person slowly make their way down the passage. I could tell it was man. He wore trousers, plain t-shirt and a jacket. As he got closer and closer and I could see him even better it became quite clear that it was my pursuer. Once again I was so relieved and happy. Boy was he in for a big surprise.
