"There's something strange about that incident. We never got to the bottom of what happened. I assumed the princess stole the key from me, but I didn't find her scent in my tent when I went to look. The princess says she stole the key from me as well but couldn't give me proper answer of how she had done it. It's clear there is more to the incident," he suggested.
I hated to admit it, but he was right that situation had been strange. We hadn't officially gotten to the bottom of what had happened. However, from the looks of it seemed more likely that someone else was involved. I had my suspicions on who it possibly was
I brought it up just to cast some doubt on the princess. It had only been a month so far I couldn't say I fully trusted her. Even though the evidence showed she was harmless, I just didn't want to get too comfortable either way.
I left the tent I then ordered some men to set up a table and some utensils for the princess in her tent.
