Once my brother and I had become acquainted with Letizia and Emil, they led us to the other Ibis survivors. They were in a small clearing in the forest huddled together. There weren't a lot, probably a couple of hundred or so. My expression fell as I saw the look of depression on their faces and that many of them had injuries. They all looked so broken
"These are the only remaining Ibis pack members so far," Letizia informed Cairn and I. "There could be others out there the same way we found you but I'm not sure."
An elderly man who looked to be in his 50s came towards us. I realized I recognized him. "Letizia you've returned. Did you manage to find any water?" he asked her.
"Yes," Emil responded.
"And these two?" he then pointed to me and Cairn.
"We found them at the river…" Emil started.
However, before Emil and Letizia could properly answer him the man's expression changed to one of shock.
"Your Highness the crown prince?" he asked me in shock.
