Chapter 111 – The Man on Every Wanted Poster
The Fourth Mizukage… was being controlled?
Genji's face twisted in shock and disbelief.
A storm of emotions brewed inside him—relief, confusion, and then… fury.
"You're absolutely sure?"
His voice was low, gritted between his teeth.
"Yes, Elder! I'm certain!" Aoi dropped to one knee.
"I wouldn't joke about this! The tower's barrier has collapsed. My Byakugan can now see inside."
"And I can confirm without a doubt—the Fourth Mizukage is under a powerful genjutsu!"
"…It's true?"
Mei's voice was shaky, too.
After everything Haruta had told her, she had still been skeptical.
She hadn't lived through Uchiha Madara's time—her knowledge of the Sharingan was limited to what she'd seen on the battlefield.
She'd never understood how fire-style specialists like the Uchiha would wage war in a country of water… What kind of logic was that?
Were they just suicidally overconfident?
But now—now she knew.
The Sharingan was far more terrifying than she had imagined.
And what it had accomplished here? She couldn't ignore it.
"Signal the others," she said quietly.
Compared to Terumi Mei's stunned expression, Elder Genji had already regained his composure. He understood the difference between the Sharingan and the Mangekyō Sharingan better than most.
"Everything tonight is already set. The Fourth Mizukage is being controlled by Uchiha Obito—he's nothing more than a puppet now. We need to move faster and clean this mess up."
"Understood, Elder."
Aoi nodded immediately, though he still looked hesitant. He lowered his voice and asked,
"Elder, if the others don't believe us, what then...?"
"Then tell them in my name."
Genji cut him off without waiting for him to finish.
"Use my name directly. And go with them—use your Byakugan and show them the truth yourself. Make one thing very clear."
He paused for a moment, lost in thought, but quickly pulled himself back.
"No matter what happens to the Fourth Mizukage, the village will prioritize stability. There won't be any drastic changes—at least, not for now.
But everything depends on how they act tonight. This is not a rebellion—this is about protecting Kirigakure. Now go!"
"Yes, sir!"
Aoi gave a crisp nod. Having followed Haruta for so long, he understood the message perfectly.
Simply put: stabilize the situation. No restructuring, no chaos—at least not yet. But that all depended on how everyone performed tonight.
Because tonight... they had gambled—and they were winning.
"Is this it? Have we finally turned the tide?"
As Aoi rushed off, Genji stood in place, dazed for a moment. He finally let out a long sigh and his gaze sharpened.
Victory meant righteousness. Victory meant protecting the interests of the village.
It was time... to defend Kirigakure's interests properly.
...
Deep within the half-ruined Mizukage Tower, Haruta stood atop a mass of writhing vines, a faint smile on his face as he looked at Uchiha Obito.
Though Obito's mask concealed his expression, Haruta could imagine just how sour his face must be right now.
"So many barriers... all designed to block the Byakugan's gaze. That alone proves you were scared of being watched."
Haruta's voice was laced with amusement.
"Now that Byakugan has had its eyes locked on this place for a while. Tell me—do you think it saw through your little secret?"
Obito didn't speak. His face twisted beneath the mask in silent agony.
He didn't need Haruta to remind him—he already knew it himself.
His operation in Kirigakure... had collapsed.
The Mizukage was exposed as a puppet. His base was raided. His influence was broken.
And the culprit—this damn Haruta—was now his living nightmare.
Just like how Uchiha Madara had once met his match in Hashirama Senju, it seemed Obito had found his own natural nemesis.
"You think you've won?"
Obito finally growled, his voice hoarse and strained.
"I admit... I underestimated you. But don't get cocky, because—"
"Please," Haruta interrupted, scoffing, "you? Beating me? Not a chance.
At least, not the version of you standing in front of me.
And me? I'm not just winning... I'm dominating."
Confident, unshakable—Haruta's tone was calm, but to Obito, each word felt like a slap to the face.
It was humiliation—pure and unfiltered.
"Oh, really...?"
Obito's voice regained a sliver of calm as his eye narrowed.
"You've inherited Wood Release. That's interesting. Because there's something I've always wanted to test."
He raised a hand, and his Mangekyō Sharingan spun wildly.
"I heard the First Hokage could handle tailed beasts with ease. Let's see how you fare."
The words had barely left his mouth before Haruta blurred from sight.
Buzz—!
A golden shimmer split the air as Haruta's kunai pierced through Obito's body—only to pass through like it struck a mirage.
"Tch."
Haruta clicked his tongue. Obito really was like a cockroach.
With Kamui, he could stir up chaos in the shinobi world and still walk away clean—there were so few who could do anything about him.
"If we're playing games... let's make it interesting."
Obito had already snapped mentally. If he was going down, then everyone else was coming with him.
Kirigakure was burned. His cover was blown. And soon enough, another Wanted poster bearing his face would be up in Mist Village's bingo book.
He didn't care anymore—but it still stung.
He didn't even know yet that Pakura had pinned the Ryūmyaku theft on him. Suna might be printing their own bounty on his head soon.
"If I'm going down... then nobody's coming out clean!"
Obito's eye spun faster and faster. A terrifying chakra erupted from the Mizukage Tower—
BOOM!!
A monstrous turtle-like beast burst forth, bellowing in fury. The Mizukage Tower—Kirigakure's symbol of authority—crumbled into rubble.
...
"Dammit—what the hell is going on?!"
Outside the village, Kisame was sprinting toward the chaos. Today was his scheduled return to the village after days on field patrol.
But he hadn't expected this.
The village was ablaze. Flames lit the misty skyline, and in the center—at the Mizukage Tower—something monstrous was howling like a beast of hell.
The sound waves alone shook the earth.
Kisame had seen battlefields, but even he felt his blood run cold at the sight.
"You bastards... is this what you were really after?!"
He clenched his teeth. Back then, Kisame was still a pure-hearted, village-loyal shinobi. When the village was under threat, he could only run faster.
And it wasn't just him—every returning Mist ninja behind him also broke into a full sprint.
They had to protect the village!
As they entered Kirigakure, the earth suddenly shook—
ROAR!!
A primal, rage-filled howl split the sky. And in that moment, they saw it: the colossal form of the Three-Tails rampaging through the mist.
...
Up high, on a distant rooftop, Nagato remained still.
He hadn't entered the battlefield. Not yet.
Haruta had come to Kirigakure to deal with Obito—but what was Obito really hiding?
Nagato wanted to see it for himself. More importantly, he wanted to ensure Konan was safe.
He didn't care about Orochimaru, Kakuzu, or even Biwa Juzo—they were tools. Dispensable.
But Konan… Konan was different.
"So far... it looks manageable."
Seeing Konan flying through the battlefield with her Paper Jutsu, Nagato exhaled in relief. Ordinary attacks couldn't hurt her.
But something still bothered him.
"Something's off with Mist's response..."
Though the fighting was intense, reinforcements poured in—but their top priority wasn't fighting.
It was evacuating civilians.
For a rebellion, the destruction seemed... too contained.
"Wait... don't tell me Haruta's already working with Kirigakure?"
A chilling realization hit him.
Nagato had fought Haruta before—he knew what the man was capable of.
"No... it can't be..."
Just then, a deafening roar tore through the mist. As if to confirm his fears—
ROAR!!
The Three-Tails emerged, its massive form dominating the skyline.
...
Standing atop Manda's head, Orochimaru grinned at Jiraiya, his voice thick with mockery.
"Peace and justice, Jiraiya? Please. Your team has done more damage than we have."
"Kidnapping the Fourth Raikage, destroying a town in the Land of Hot Water, collapsing the Grass Village, burning down the Tsuchikage Tower...
And now Mist? What's next—Kumo? Suna?"
Jiraiya stood atop Gamabunta, staring at the ruined Mizukage Tower with twitching lips. He said nothing.
Because he couldn't deny it.
Every time Haruta got a mission—it ended badly.
At best, high-profile kidnappings. At worst, structural annihilation.
Tsuchikage Tower. Mizukage Tower.
The man had a vendetta against famous buildings.
"Is this guy even a Konoha ninja? He's worse than the Akatsuki..."
"Damn you, Danzo... you absolute bastard."
Then it clicked.
Haruta was one of Danzo's projects.
"These were... just accidents!" Jiraiya snapped, not believing it himself but feeling the need to say something.
Of course, he didn't dare bring up Danzo. That was an internal Konoha mess.
"And the Tsuchikage Tower wasn't even our doing!"
"Trying to pin that on me now?"
Orochimaru's grin widened, sarcasm dripping from every word.
"Fine. Believe what you want. I don't care. I'd rather kill you than argue."
Before the words even faded, Manda lunged.
Gamabunta countered immediately—and once again, the legendary Sannin clashed in a titanic battle.
Toads and serpents coiled in deadly combat.
Around them, the battlefield descended into chaos, buildings crumbling under the weight of their fight.
Beneath the clashing titans above, Kakashi was locked in a fierce skirmish with Konan, flanked by Yugao, Yamato, and Pakura.
"Didn't expect it... Konoha actually has another user of Wood Release?"
Biwa Juzo frowned, his eyes narrowing as she observed Yamato's techniques. Even Konan, floating above with her paper wings extended, furrowed her brow slightly.
Only Kakuzu, who had been half-heartedly participating and clearly conserving his energy, raised an eyebrow with a smirk.
"But your Wood Release… is nowhere near Haruta's level."
"I never claimed I was his equal," Yamato replied evenly, though his heart stirred. How the hell does this guy know Haruta's name?
Or rather… it seemed like all the Akatsuki members were very aware of Haruta.
"You've already lost."
Kakashi's Mangekyō Sharingan spun as he cut the chatter short. His voice was low and cold, filled with conviction.
"Your schemes are exposed. Once Haruta captures Uchiha Obito, this all ends."
"Uchiha Obito?"
Konan raised an eyebrow, scoffing with disdain.
"You people keep repeating that name like a mantra—Uchiha Obito this, Uchiha Obito that. But let's get one thing straight—Akatsuki has no such person."
"What makes you think we'd recruit just anyone? And what makes you so sure he's with us?"
"Spare us the lies," Kakashi snapped. "You people even manipulated the Mizukage—we're not going to believe a word you say."
Without wasting more breath, he launched into action.
"Wood Release: Silent Binding Technique!"
Yamato moved instantly to coordinate with Kakashi. He might've had his doubts about their leader's state of mind, but as a subordinate, cooperation was a given.
With both of them attacking, Yugao and Pakura had no choice but to follow suit.
Yugao, as a member of Konoha's ANBU, moved instinctively to support her team. Pakura, though visibly reluctant, knew she had no one else to rely on in this chaos but these Konoha shinobi.
"Call it… returning a favor between allies," she muttered under her breath. Still, she stole glances at Yugao.
She was very aware of the rumored relationship between Yugao and Haruta.
But isn't Yugao older than Haruta… by quite a bit?
Pakura scowled as the thought surfaced.
That brat… likes older women?
The idea irritated her to no end.
Haruta had saved her—twice, in fact. And she was truly grateful. But every time she remembered that moment when he tore her clothes off, her mind teetered on the edge of composure.
"Ugh! Let's just finish this and get the hell out of here!"
She forced her attention back to the battlefield, her Scorch Release igniting into a barrage of flaming orbs, blasting toward the Akatsuki members.
The area instantly descended into chaos.
Although Konoha's side had the advantage in numbers, Akatsuki's members were all monsters in their own right—each one an elite shinobi. The fight was anything but easy.
Had Kakuzu not been slacking off so openly, and had Konan not been distracted by her "Turn Haruta to their side" mission, things might've been even worse. Right now, only Biwa Juzo was fighting seriously.
Without that edge, Kakashi's group likely wouldn't be holding on. After all, none of them had reached their full potential yet.
"This can't go on…"
Kakashi hadn't realized that Konan and Kakuzu were going easy on them. If this dragged out, the situation would only worsen.
He was also deeply concerned about what was happening inside the Mizukage Tower. Whether it was Haruta or Obito—both situations needed immediate attention.
"Huh?"
Suddenly, Kakashi's expression froze.
He felt it—an overwhelming chakra, violent and oppressive, surging into existence.
He wasn't the only one.
Yamato, Yugao, and Pakura all sensed it and instinctively retreated. Even the Akatsuki members turned grim and focused their eyes on the Mizukage Tower.
"What the hell is that?" Kakuzu muttered.
Biwa Juzo's face darkened.
"This chakra… it's bad."
"How bad?" Kakuzu asked, raising a brow. Then, as if struck by realization, his expression shifted.
At that moment, Jiraiya and Orochimaru ceased their clash.
"Get up here, now!" Jiraiya shouted from atop Gamabunta.
"Run!!" Biwa Juzo screamed. She didn't even glance back—just turned and bolted.
Konan and Kakuzu shared a look before vanishing in a blur. Kakashi's team scrambled onto Gamabunta's back, and the giant toad leapt, covering several hundred meters in one bound.
BOOM——!!!
The moment they cleared the blast radius, a deafening roar exploded from the Mizukage Tower. The very earth trembled beneath their feet.
From the swirling mists, a colossal beast emerged—its enormous form rippling with unrestrained chakra.
The Three-Tails.
Every Mist shinobi watching froze in place.
The Three-Tails' Jinchūriki is the Fourth Mizukage… Has it really come to this?
Some still unaware of the full story rushed forward to help, but the moment the Three-Tails roared, all such thoughts died.
This wasn't a fight they could take part in.
Even worse—who had pushed the Fourth Mizukage to this breaking point?
"Pathetic."
A golden radiance suddenly streaked across the sky, piercing the gloom like a sunburst.
As the light ascended, its source became clear—it wasn't just chakra, but a person.
"You wanted to see if I could take down a Tailed Beast? Then open your damn eyes."
"I'll show you now!"
The golden figure pressed his palms together—his chakra flared like a tidal wave, blinding and deafening.
"Who is that…?" Mist shinobi all around whispered in shock.
Before they could react further, the ground trembled again. A massive tree tore through the Mizukage Tower, twisting violently.
And then—
A colossal wooden humanoid rose from the earth, its form towering over the village.
The Wood Golem.
With a roar, it locked eyes with the turtle-like Three-Tails and charged like a living mountain.
Each of its footsteps quaked the land, and when it reached the beast—it struck.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Each punch sent shockwaves through the village. Buildings crumbled, trees snapped, and shinobi were thrown into the air like ragdolls.
Dust and fog merged into a single choking haze, turning the entire battlefield into a world of murky chaos.
"Run!!"
No one had time to care who their enemies were anymore.
Shards of debris rained from the sky, and the impact tremors alone were lethal. Countless unlucky ones were pierced or crushed by falling rubble—others simply exploded from the force.
"What a spectacle…" Orochimaru stood on Manda's head, one of the first to flee the danger. He didn't even bother warning his so-called allies.
The Akatsuki members caught up soon after, landing atop Manda as well, much to the great snake's displeasure.
But remembering Orochimaru's promise of "sacrifices," it grudgingly tolerated the extra weight.
"Tch. You ran fast," Kakuzu sneered at Orochimaru.
Konan gave Orochimaru a quick glance before turning her gaze on Biwa Juzo.
"How much do you know about the Three-Tails?"
"Not much. That thing's the village's biggest secret. I only know one thing—it's a nightmare to deal with."
Biwa Juzo shook his head. Even as a former member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, he had little access to that level of classified info.
Kakuzu, however, remained calm.
"No need to worry. The Three-Tails won't last long against that. Remember—Uchiha Madara once fought Senju Hashirama with the Nine-Tails, and even then, Hashirama's Wood Release crushed him."
"You of all people, Orochimaru, should understand how terrifying Wood Release is."
"True," Orochimaru murmured, licking his lips. The battle unfolding before him ignited his curiosity.
"Haruta might not be as powerful as Hashirama… yet. But his potential is limitless. That's why Shimura Danzo pulled all those strings. And that's why all of you are so interested in him."
"Interested? What do you mean?" Biwa Juzo asked, confused.
"We came to Kirigakure to recruit someone, remember?" Orochimaru added. "But we haven't really made a move yet, have we?"
"Soon," Konan said. "You'll see."
Kakuzu changed the topic.
"Speaking of… where's our leader? Isn't it about time he showed up?"
"No need to rush. He has his reasons."
Konan spoke casually, though she wasn't entirely sure what Nagato was planning. Still, she trusted him.
"Besides… we're not safe yet."
Her eyes flicked to the horizon—Gamabunta was still watching them intently from afar.
With the arrival of the Three-Tails and the Wood Golem, both sides had come to a momentary halt. No one made a move.
But everyone knew… this calm wouldn't last.
"The Three-Tails, huh…"
Jiraiya's gaze drifted across the battlefield, scanning from Orochimaru's group to the twin titans locked in combat.
Thanks to the fog and dust, visibility was poor. But even so, the sheer destruction left in the monsters' wake was unmistakable.
Roars echoed. Buildings vanished. The village center had turned into a battlefield of gods.
"Monsters…" Kakashi muttered, the corners of his mouth twitching.
For some reason, he thought back to that night.
The Night of the Nine-Tails.
"If Haruta had this kind of power back then…"
"The Nine-Tails Night? Haruta would've been just a kid then, right?" Yamato murmured, overhearing despite Kakashi's quiet tone.
"Still, if what he said is true—that it was Uchiha Obito behind the attack—maybe meeting Obito earlier would've awakened his Wood Release sooner."
"Don't be ridiculous," Jiraiya cut in, rubbing his temples. "If Haruta had crossed paths with that lunatic back then, he wouldn't be alive today."
He turned to Kakashi, his tone serious.
"Your eye… It's the same as Obito's. Do you feel anything?"
"Hm… At least one thing is certain now."
Kakashi gave a bitter nod. There was no way for him to avoid this issue any longer.
"It's likely that he's the one controlling the Three-Tails. Although the connection is faint, I can still sense something..."
He reached up and lightly touched his eye.
"This Sharingan seems capable of sensing that unique chakra link."
After all, Sharingan eyes, regardless of who holds them, are inherently connected. Even if Kakashi couldn't replicate Obito's ability to see fragmented visions through the shared eye, the connection still allowed him to sense disturbances.
And right now, he could clearly feel a special chakra resonance between his eye and the Three-Tails—just as Haruta had predicted.
"You think you can sever the connection?" Jiraiya blinked rapidly, clearly anxious.
But Kakashi simply shook his head.
Jiraiya let out a soft sigh. "Then I guess we'll have to wait it out..."
He glanced at the crumbling buildings all around them. The chaos reminded him of the Nine-Tails attack from years ago. He hadn't been present that night, but the destruction now wasn't much different, was it?
"This endless cycle of violence... When will it ever end?"
Jiraiya sighed again, but then paused, realizing something.
—Why was he even worrying about someone else's village?
"This power... it's terrifying."
As he drifted in thought, Pakura stood nearby, her eyes locked on the clash between the two titanic beasts. Her mind was in utter turmoil.
Seeing something like this—it was impossible not to imagine what it would be like if such destruction occurred in her village.
Especially considering that their own One-Tailed Beast wasn't exactly the obedient type… and their Kazekage had more than once entertained the idea of "righteous sacrifice" for the sake of the village.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine."
A calm voice rang out beside her. It was Yugao, who spoke without shifting her gaze.
"When the time comes, you'll be able to go home safely."
Pakura turned to glance at Yugao, and for a second, she felt both frustrated and amused.
Go home safely?
That's not what I'm worried about.
What worries me is you people—our so-called allies! The stronger you lot become, the more screwed we are.
We really need to rethink this alliance when we get back. This Haruta guy is getting more absurd by the day.
She let out a soft breath, then looked at Yugao with a teasing smirk.
"You seem awfully confident in your little boyfriend."
"Of course I am."
Yugao gave her a sidelong glance. The phrase little boyfriend made her chest tighten a little, but she kept her tone steady.
"Don't forget—he was sneaking in and out of the Land of Wind like it was his backyard three years ago. He's only gotten stronger since then."
"…Tch."
Low blow.
Yugao's words made Pakura wince inwardly. She snorted and looked away, but deep down, a strange thought surfaced.
Wait… didn't Haruta already have a thing for this older teammate of his three years ago?
Recalling everything she had observed after getting captured, the pieces began to fall into place.
So that guy… has a thing for older women?
While those on the sidelines wrestled with their thoughts, Haruta had already completely suppressed the Three-Tails.
Wood Release truly is ridiculous when it comes to restraining Tailed Beasts…
He couldn't help but marvel at its power.
The sons of the Sage of Six Paths had passed down their bloodlines through generations, ultimately forming three distinct clans—Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki.
The Uchiha tormented Tailed Beasts spiritually.
The Senju beat them down physically.
And the Uzumaki straight-up sealed them like cargo—double the pain.
Though Haruta was a "fake Senju," having reverse-engineered Wood Release himself, he couldn't deny how effective it was.
"I'd love to see someone say the knock-off can't beat the original now."
Standing atop the wooden golem, golden chakra cloaked his body. Arms crossed, expression stoic—he looked every bit the invincible Uchiha Madara.
He knew full well he wasn't invincible, but against Uchiha Obito, he had to at least look the part.
The wooden giant launched a barrage of punches at the Three-Tails.
Even though they were in the Land of Water, and the environment heavily favored the Three-Tails, Obito's control over it wasn't nearly as flawless as it should have been. He couldn't enhance its combat power at all.
"You're not really controlling the Three-Tails, are you? You're just letting it fight on instinct. You think that's enough to beat me?"
Haruta commanded the wooden giant to strike harder, his words aimed at the empty air.
Obito had gone into hiding, but the subtle ripples of space gave his position away.
"Bastard…"
Obito's blood boiled. It wasn't that he didn't want to control the Three-Tails properly—he couldn't.
Both the Three-Tails and Yagura's residual will were fighting him tooth and nail!
After all, it was he who released the beast—naturally, that created flaws in the genjutsu.
And now, the Three-Tails and Yagura seemed to sense a trap. Their resistance was far stronger than expected.
"Damn that Nagato! What's he waiting for? Just sitting there watching!?"
Obito looked up, locking onto Nagato's position, silently cursing.
But Haruta's voice interrupted his thoughts again.
"Yeah, I guess I was foolish to expect anything from a sewer rat like you."
As he spoke, Haruta's gaze swept briefly toward where Nagato was hiding.
If Obito could sense him, so could he. But Nagato's lack of aggression puzzled him.
Shouldn't he have stepped in by now? Working together with the Three-Tails would be the logical move.
And yet, he remained still—silent and unmoving.
Haruta shook his head. Whatever Nagato was planning didn't matter.
First, he had to deal with the beast right in front of him.
"Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique!"
With the help of his [Yang Release: Chakra Mode], Haruta's control over Wood Release surged to another level.
Even at just Level 1, his mastery was precise. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of power this ability would unlock if fully leveled up.
"Naruto used Nine-Tails Chakra Mode to fight Six Paths Obito… then the evolved Yang Mode let him fight Kaguya. The potential here is insane!"
As he thought that, the massive wooden dragon burst forth with a deafening roar, lunging toward the Three-Tails.
The beast sensed danger instinctively—but it was too late.
The dragon struck in a flash, wrapping tightly around its target!
ROAR—!
The Three-Tails howled in pain as its chakra was drained by the Wood Dragon with terrifying speed.
"Wood Release: Nativity of a World of Trees!"
Apparently, even that wasn't fast enough for Haruta.
He formed another seal—and in an instant, a sprawling forest sprang up beneath the Three-Tails' feet.
Vines shot up like snakes, latching onto the beast from every direction. In seconds, its entire body was ensnared.
The Three-Tails struggled wildly. It snapped vines, shattered trunks, and even damaged the Wood Dragon.
But its chakra only served to fuel the Wood Release further—its struggle was futile.
"Damn it! I can't let you win that easily!"
Obito's heart surged with desperation. He no longer held back, unleashing his full ocular power.
At this rate, the Three-Tails' chakra would be completely extracted—and once that happened, Yagura's real body would reawaken.
Kakashi was right there too. With him on the scene, it was only a matter of time before the genjutsu was broken.
Obito had lost hard.
And he'd already released the Three-Tails—why not go all in?
ROAR—!
The beast reared its head, mouth wide.
Tiny orbs of chakra began to gather, condensing rapidly into a single, ominous black-and-purple sphere.
"A Tailed Beast Bomb?!"
Jiraiya's eyes widened in shock.
The Mist shinobi who had just arrived paled instantly.
"Damn it! The Fourth Mizukage's really being controlled!"
The intelligence from their informant had been vague—no one knew whether it was treason or civil purge.
But now, seeing this with their own eyes—there was no room for doubt.
If he wasn't under control, why would the Mizukage launch a Tailed Beast Bomb in the middle of his own village?
"Retreat! Everyone, get out of here now!"
Master Genji couldn't stay calm anymore. He shouted at the top of his lungs.
If they stayed here and got caught in the blast, the Hidden Mist would be finished!
"Tailed Beast Bomb, huh?"
Haruta raised an eyebrow.
Obito really was going all out now—but a Tailed Beast Bomb wasn't nearly enough to take him down.
"Well then—"
Haruta clasped his hands again, sending a surge of chakra into the wooden giant.
The golem's body suddenly grew even larger.
BOOM—!
Under Haruta's control, the wooden giant charged at the Three-Tails.
The dragon and vines wrapped even tighter, binding the beast firmly in place.
HUM—
Finally, the Tailed Beast Bomb launched.
At the same moment, Haruta had the wooden golem throw a devastating punch—
—straight at the bomb, and at the beast's gaping maw.
KRA-KOOM—!!
The impact echoed across the entire Land of Water.
A storm of pure chakra and force exploded outward, blinding light tearing through the darkness of Hidden Mist.
Where once there was fog and shadows—now blazed a white-hot inferno.
A visible shockwave surged across the village.
From afar, it looked like a mushroom cloud rising straight into the sky.
