"I guess it wouldn't be so bad?" Riven said with uncertainty.
Soren found it pleasing, even though others would find it odd.
"So… Are we going to do anything?" Riven asked, his wolf ears twitching in anticipation, betraying his barely contained excitement. His green eyes sparkled with hope, he tried to sound nonchalant, but that failed.
Soren raised an eyebrow, his arms crossed as he sat at the edge of the bed. "No," he said simply, voice even and firm.
Riven blinked. "No?" His ears twitched again, this time with confusion. He scooted closer, his expression falling into a soft pout. "Why not?" he asked with a small, almost whiny tone. "I've been gone forever, and now you're just gonna cuddle me?"
