"You can save Rin?" Noran's eyes widened, his voice a mix of surprise and hope.
Yet, skepticism quickly set in.

At her words, Noran looked back down at Shuri. Unlike before, she looked less deathly pale, her lips no longer purple, and her breathing seemed stable despite not needing a breathing aid. He quickly checked her pulse and was relieved to find it was no longer as weak as before.
"Do you trust me now, Mr. Noran?" she asked, her voice calm and knowing.
Noran was taken aback.
She knew who he was?
But he didn't bother asking how she knew or how they had been transported to this bizarre place. His only concern was Shuri.
