"Your highness." I curtsied, it seems I arrived late and their meeting is over
"M'lady." He smiled
He approaches me, a smile on his face, "Hehe, did you come to check on me?" He asks
"I came to greet you, your Highness." I said, looking at him intently
He's a pawn in my chess, and my enemy is the Emperor himself, his very father. He stand between me and Him, a pawn in both sides.
"I see, it has been a while since I came to the Millaber Estate, it has changed a lot"
I stared at him then to where he was looking, the garden that looks a bit overgrown yet it made it more natural.. more serene
"ah, Father told me to give this to you" he smiles again, handing me a letter with a royal seal
I took it from him, "Thank you, your highness." I bowed in greatfullness
"Your highness, We must go back, you have a meeting in the next three hours.." His assistant said, he'll arrive there at noon if he leave now..
"Then, see you next time, M'lady." He kisses the back of my hand before he turned
When he turned, I looked at his assistant, Black hair, purple eyes..
"Sir Ron?" I asks and he turned to me, the hood of his suit lowering slightly, "M..M'lady.."
Why is he working for the crown prince when the Royal family is the reason as to why he pushed himself to do the right thing and killed his own men? Let alone the ones who stripped off his title as the leader of imperial knights?
"Why are you working for him? You're a knight."
"Not anymore, M'lady." He smiles softly, oh..
