"What? You're going to visit the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan?"
Ning Rongrong exclaimed in shock. This couldn't happen!
Anyone could visit the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan—anyone but Li Si!
If Li Si went, would they ever let him leave again?
"No, Li Si, you can't go to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan!"
Ning Rongrong grabbed his arm firmly, her expression resolute.
Everyone looked at her in confusion. Why was she so adamant about stopping Li Si? What did this have to do with her?
Yu Tianxin and Yu Longliu's faces darkened.
After all the effort they'd put into persuading their "Fourth Master" to return, Ning Rongrong had jumped in to block them. What was going on?
"Ning Rongrong, out of respect for your father, I'm holding back, but step aside! I'm taking Fourth Uncle home!"
Yu Longliu's voice carried barely restrained annoyance.
If Li Si changed his mind because of Ning Rongrong, who would take responsibility?
"You're yelling at me?"
Ning Rongrong's expression shifted to disbelief. She hadn't expected this second-generation disciple of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan to actually raise his voice at her!
"Hmph!" Yu Longliu snorted coldly. "If you stop me from bringing Fourth Uncle back, I'll yell even if your father shows up!"
He wasn't joking. Not even Ning Fengzhi's presence would deter him from fulfilling this mission. The clan's orders were absolute—Li Si's return was non-negotiable.
"Fourth Uncle?"
Ning Rongrong's brow furrowed in confusion. When had Li Si become their "Fourth Uncle"?
If that were true, wouldn't that make Li Si a peer to Yu Yuanzhen, effectively a "Fourth Grandfather" to the younger generation?
Her eyes darted between Li Si and Yu Longliu, utterly baffled.
"Haha, it's fine. I'm just going for a visit," Li Si said with an awkward laugh.
Then, turning to Yu Longliu, he added, "And please stop calling me Fourth Uncle. It's weird, considering our ages."
Yu Longliu scratched his head sheepishly. "I don't want to either, but if the clan hears that I wasn't respectful, I'll be done for!"
Yu Tianxin chimed in, "Exactly, Fourth Grandfather! We have to honor your seniority—it's the clan rules!"
The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan had always been a traditional family. Rules about hierarchy and respect were deeply ingrained.
Disrespecting an elder, especially one as significant as Li Si, would lead to severe punishment. At best, they'd be confined without food; at worst, the family laws would be enforced.
Moreover, this wasn't just any elder—Li Si's martial spirit had reverted to its ancestral form. He was the clan's hope for ascending to greater heights!
Li Si twitched slightly, deciding not to press the issue further. "Fine, let's get going and sort this out quickly."
"Great! Great!" Yu Longliu said, nodding eagerly.
The journey from Heaven Dou City to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan took about ten days—not far, but not exactly close either.
"Aren't you at least going to watch the opening ceremony of the All-Continent Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament before leaving?" Ning Rongrong asked, trying to change tactics.
The opening ceremony was the next day. It was a grand event, and surely worth attending.
"No need. It's just a children's game," Li Si replied casually.
"Children's game?"
Ning Rongrong froze.
Well… for someone like Li Si, who could defeat Spirit Sages as a Spirit King, it really might seem like child's play.
Before Ning Rongrong could retort, two figures approached them from the distance.
It was none other than Dai Mubai and Oscar.
They didn't recognize Li Si. Xiao Wu's slight changes went unnoticed as well. Only Dai Mubai had a vague sense of familiarity.
"Ning Rongrong, Zhuqing, who are you talking to?" Dai Mubai asked with practiced calm.
Having recently broken through to the 41st rank, his confidence had grown immensely. The addition of a new spirit ring made him feel invincible.
However, what continued to irk him was Zhu Zhuqing's indifference. Even after two years, she still treated him coldly, as though he didn't exist.
How could they release their martial fusion skill like this? And without that, how were they supposed to defeat Davis and Zhu Zhuyun?
This lingering issue had become a thorn in Dai Mubai's side. He'd tried bringing it up multiple times, but Zhu Zhuqing always ignored him.
"Oscar, call me Ning Rongrong. We're not that close," Ning Rongrong said sharply.
"And Dai Mubai, we're just classmates. Please address me as Zhu Zhuqing or ignore me entirely."
The bold declarations left passersby intrigued. Conversations halted as people turned to watch the unfolding drama.
Dai Mubai and Oscar's faces darkened. Was that really necessary? We're all classmates. No need to embarrass us like this!
"Dai Mubai, whoever I'm talking to has nothing to do with you. It's my business," Zhu Zhuqing said coldly.
Her words stung Dai Mubai deeply. His golden hair practically turned green as his frustration mounted.
What does she mean it's none of my business?
He'd only wanted her to introduce him to the group—how had things escalated into this?
Suddenly, something clicked. Why was Zhu Zhuqing so eager to clarify her relationship with him? She'd always been distant, but today felt different.
Turning his attention to the group, Dai Mubai scrutinized Li Si, Yu Longliu, and Yu Tianxin.
After a moment of circling them, he stopped in front of Li Si.
"There's only one explanation…" Dai Mubai muttered under his breath. His gaze locked onto Li Si, who stood out with his striking appearance.
"Ah, Zhu Zhuqing…"
