Zara's hand froze mid-air, her eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Zavier.
"Y—" she swallowed, forcing herself to breathe. "You did this on purpose?" she asked.
Zavier held her shoulders firmly, crouching to explain, "Zara, please try to understand…"
