Naruto held Hinata close, his lips pressing against hers with growing intensity. As they kissed, his hand moved almost instinctively, guided by the muscle memory of a past life, landing above the headlight.
Hinata let out a soft hum, her breath hitching in surprise. Her face flushed a deep red, her ears burning from both embarrassment and unexpected excitement. Naruto had never been this bold before, and just as she was recovering, another surprise attack came.
Her lips parted under his persistence, and his tongue slipped inside, intertwining with hers in a slow, heated rhythm.
Within seconds, Hinata's eyes became hazy with longing, her mind drifting into a dazed trance.
Naruto tightened his hold, pulling her even closer. Slowly, the two of them fell onto the bed together.
The Next Morning
As the first light of dawn filtered through the windows, Naruto sat up, stretching slightly before glancing down at the woman lying beside him. A small, satisfied smile played on his lips.
Leaning down, he pressed a gentle kiss to Hinata's forehead.
Last night had been unforgettable.
He hadn't gone all the way, but he had done everything else—kissed everywhere he wanted, touched everything he desired.
Naruto rose and began dressing. Hinata stirred, rubbing her sleepy eyes before looking at him.
"Are you leaving?" she asked, her voice laced with drowsiness.
Naruto leaned down, his fingers brushing against the loose strands of her hair as he tucked them behind her ear.
"Mmm. Can I come see you another day?" he asked.
Hinata pulled the blanket up, hiding half her face as she huffed. "Hmph! Men always say that. They take what they want and leave."
Naruto chuckled, amused by her reaction. With a playful glint in his eyes, he reached out and tapped her nose.
"Where did you learn to talk like that?" he teased. "Besides, I haven't even done everything yet…"
His smirk was wicked, his tone suggestive.
Hinata's heart skipped a beat. She suddenly realized just how mischievous Naruto could be when he wanted to. The thought made her pull the blanket higher, covering herself more.
Naruto stole a few more kisses before finally stepping back. Then, with a flash of Flying Thunder God, he disappeared.
Outside Konoha – In the Forest
The morning sun bathed the treetops in gold as Naruto reappeared in a secluded clearing. He let out a deep, satisfied sigh, stretching his limbs.
"Ahh… that was way too good," he muttered, feeling more relaxed than ever.
A sudden, irritated voice cut through the peaceful morning air.
"Baga yarō! You bastard! You absolute bastard! You're not even human!"
Naruto turned to see Killer Bee, arms crossed, glaring at him with an expression of sheer annoyance.
Naruto scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Ah… Uncle Bee, sorry about that."
Killer Bee huffed. "Baga yarō, you told me you'd just drop by and come right back! You were gone the whole damn night!"
Naruto grinned apologetically. "Ahh, well, you see… the Uzumaki clan is known for its stamina. I kinda lost track of time. What can I say? I'm built different."
Killer Bee narrowed his eyes, raising his hand threateningly. "Don't make me go Full Tailed Beast Mode on you."
Naruto quickly wrapped an arm around Killer Bee's shoulder. "Come on, don't be mad. I'll make it up to you—ramen's on me, alright?"
Killer Bee grumbled. "Hmph. Don't think a bowl of ramen is gonna bribe me!"
"I'll get you a BIG bowl," Naruto added.
Killer Bee made a sound of reluctant interest but still feigned dissatisfaction. "Tch. A big bowl? What's so special about that?"
Naruto smirked. "Unlimited refills."
Killer Bee coughed and looked away. "…Well, if we're talking unlimited refills… that's different."
Naruto laughed, shaking his head. "Alright, alright, but first, let's get to business."
After dealing with Killer Bee's complaints, Naruto led him away from Konoha's main gate, settling down on a large tree branch.
Killer Bee raised an eyebrow. "Naruto, where exactly are we?"
Naruto closed his eyes, leaning back. "Waiting for someone."
Killer Bee frowned. "Waiting? Who?"
Naruto clicked his tongue. "The higher-ups. I already passed on some important intel to Konoha. They're probably having a meeting about it right now. It won't be long before we get an answer."
As he spoke, his Sage Mode activated, orange pigmentation forming around his eyes as his sensory abilities expanded.
Killer Bee groaned. "Man, I waited for you all night, and now I gotta wait even more? And I'm still hungry!"
Naruto sighed, forming a Shadow Clone before turning to Killer Bee. "Alright, I get it. Let's go—ramen's on me."
Killer Bee grinned. "Oye! Now we're talkin'!"
Konoha – Hokage's Office
Meanwhile, inside the Hokage's office, an emergency meeting was underway.
After receiving Naruto's intel, Shikamaru had rushed to deliver it, and the discussion had gone on all night. Some had barely gotten any sleep, while others had just showered and returned to continue the debate.
Jiraiya leaned back in his chair, his arms crossed. "I think Naruto's intel is reliable. Whether you look at it from a personal standpoint or the village's interests, Naruto hasn't done anything to harm Konoha. If anything, he's been protecting it from the shadows."
A scoff came from across the room.
"You're being too one-sided, Jiraiya," Homura Mitokado interjected. "You're forgetting one major detail—the reason Danzo is missing an arm and an eye!"
Koharu Utatane nodded in agreement. "That's right! Naruto's actions have left Danzo in hiding! He won't even show up for this meeting!"
Shikaku Nara exhaled slowly, recalling something Shikamaru had told him earlier.
"Naruto isn't a traitor. He's still protecting Konoha—just in a way we can't understand yet. He sees things we don't."
Shikaku sighed. He hadn't expected his son to speak so wisely about the situation.
He straightened up and finally spoke. "If we keep arguing about Naruto's status, we're just going to end up in an infinite loop."
Tsunade, who had remained silent, now locked eyes with Shikaku, signaling for him to continue.
Shikaku took a deep breath. "Naruto may have defected, but as Jiraiya pointed out, he hasn't harmed Konoha. The only person he's harmed is Danzo Shimura."
At the mention of Danzo, a noticeable tension filled the room.
Shikaku pressed further. "Speaking of Danzo… Mito-sama, Koharu-sama—are you really going to act like he's innocent?"
The two elders hesitated, shifting uncomfortably.
Shikaku didn't stop. "You both know exactly where that arm and eye came from. You can't ignore the truth forever."
Silence fell over the room.
Tsunade finally leaned forward, her fingers tapping against the desk.
"...I think it's time we stop pretending that Danzo's secrets don't exist."
Shikaku nodded. "Then, we should start preparing—because Naruto's intel suggests that Konoha's enemies are already moving."
