"Alright," Brandon said, stepping to the side and looking at the range.
"Let's try five this time. Targets will move faster, and not in the same pattern. Let's see how you do."
Eira took a breath and rolled her shoulders slightly.
She brought the Lazara Mk.II up again and her eyes turned sharp.
Downrange, five targets activated in sequence, each target moved in randomized bursts... some in zig-zags, others accelerating and braking unpredictably.
Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang.
The first four shots rang out quickly and each one struck its mark with precision... center mass, shoulder, upper chest, and one grazing just above the head but still scoring a registered hit.
Then the fifth target turned left and Eira fired
Bang!
... and the shot whizzed past the edge, missing entirely.
