Gary Talon stood before his men in high spirits as they prepared for an expedition which could potentially change the lives of his family. He needed the chalice to secure dominion on the Asheveil expanse so his family could be elevated to the status of a Great Family. This could allow him to curry favour with the Supreme Family, The Sanguinus Family, and grow his family and army. "Soldiers of the Radir Family, we go into the desert of Relics, to obtain the treasure rightfully ours. We shall defend our relic from the vicious and bloodthirsty Bloodhound clan and take over the desert!"
The soldiers roared in anticipation of the trip to turn their lives around. They would get the chalice for their leader and ascend to become a true family and leave the desert behind to stay in the Midnight continent, the Vampire's domain.
"The 2nd squad will be sent ahead with a noble vampire to scout the desert for the ruins and monitor the werewolves activities while we travel to the ruins. Eliminate all possible threats and report back if you find the exact location of the chalice." Gary said to a pale skined female wearing black armor and carrying a sword bearing resemblance to a katana. "I won't let you down, my lord!" replied the woman with conviction in her voice.
"Men, we move at nightfall!" Shouted the woman to the vampires near her in similar armor.

Fenrik sat down silently listening to Adrien as he narrated what happened yesterday. One could notice the concern he held for Adrien as he, occasionally interrupted Adrien to scold him for the risks he took in the dungeon, just for the purpose of growing stronger. Adrien felt a warm feeling spread through his chest at Fenrik genuine concern.
"Though you could have died multiple times in that dungeon, i am proud of you for overcoming those challenges, cub." Adrien's heart swelled with pride at Fenrik's words of praise and silently promisied to do even better. Nyarixis layed by Adrien's side seemingly in slumber, but inwardly, he understood Adrien. "I hope you can survive what is to come and keep Fenrik at your side."
The trio packed up and left because of the increase of beasts in the area, due to them camping there too long. They traveled for a while under the scorching suns, till they came across a massive monolithic ruin. They scouted the area for any threat but found nothing too strong. Decided by Fenrik, they camped in the ruin and feasted oun the edible monster corpses they obtained from hunting.
Meanwhile, Galvir and Freya were fighting of what appeared to be a scavenger of the desert. Galvir swung his hammer with incredible strength onto the beast, which resembled a rat face wolf at the second level of mortal essence stage. It howled in pain, but before it could retaliate, Freya's arrows pierced through it's head and lungs. A group of figures silently watched them defeat the beast and after it's death, they decided to come out. "I don't have time for games, Kill them both." A gruff voice sounding more like a growl commanded.
