A lonely soul flouting in the blackness of the unknown.
After Miyoko was shot and killed. Her soul woke up in a place so dark that her eyes couldn't make anything out of it.
"Where am I? How did I get here? What happened to me?"
Confused. She started asking herself questions which had no answers, when suddenly she remembered about what happened before she found herself in the unknown.
"Huh?"
"Come down, everything's going to be alright." One of Miko's friends said to Miko, while they were walking behind Souta who was walking behind Yuuki and Miyoko.
Miyoko and Yuuki had no idea about what was going on behind them, when suddenly Yuuki asked Miyoko. "So I've been wondering. Why did you ask me instead of the others, to, you know, tag along."
"It's, it's because I li." Before Miyoko could finish talking. Everything went dark.
"Oh, I was going to tell Yuuki how I feel about him huh."
She said while scanning the area when she suddenly noticed a golden light coming from the point she was floating on.
"What's this golden glow?" She asked, while trying to pinpoint the exact location of the light. When suddenly, she saw some of her hair floating in front of her and it was glowing in the dark. She absolutely forgot that she had short hair, and the hair floating in front of her was long.
She moved her hands a little bit, trying to grab the hair that was in front of her, when she noticed that not only her hair was glowing, but her whole body was also glowing like a lonely lump in the dark.
"Why am I glowing?"
A bad thought crossed her mind.
"Am i dead?"
She wondered in curiosity when suddenly, some silver dust that appeared from nowhere, started to gather on one point in front of Miyoko creating a reflective block, almost the same size as her.
'What's this?' She thought curiously.
She moved closer to the block in order to get a good look at it, while hesitating that it might be some sort of trap.
She grimaced at it when she saw that her eyes were full of tears. "Why am I crying?" She asked herself while feeling a burning sensation on her chest.
She tried wiping off the tears by using her bear hands, but the tears wouldn't just stop falling out of her eyes.
'Why? Why?' She thought as she continued to wipe the tears off her face, but the tears also continued to come out.
The burning sensation on her chest grew, followed by the thought of being weak and useless for being unable to do anything right.
"Why am I like this?" She said as she continued to wipe.
'I can't even stop my own tears from coming out, just how useless can I be.' She thought as the tears continued to come out.
A moment later, the reflective block started to displace in form of the silver dust again and vanished into the thin air. Miyoko closed her eyes and left herself to drift along the unknown.
She didn't know that someone or something was observing her in another dimension, as she was floating in the unknown.
A few minutes later, as she was floating in the abyss. An unfamiliar voice echoed inside her head. "You who feel weak and useless. Welcome, to my world." The voice said.
"Huh"
The voice made Miyoko jump with surprise. She had no idea where the voice was coming from. She tried looking around her again, but there was no one to be seen, even though the voice sounded really close to her. She had no idea that the voice was coming directly from the inside of her head.
"Wh who's there?!" She asked while making a complicated face. She even sounded scared.
"I'm no one, but I'm here to give you a task. Don't be scared."
'A task?' She thought with a confused face
"What does that suppose to mean?" She asked while trying to figure out where the voice was coming from.
"I want you to do something for me, and in retain, I'll give you any magical powers beyond your imagination."
She stopped trembling the moment the voice mentioned magical powers. Her curiosity was piqued, but she was still curious about who the voice was, and where it was coming from.
"Did you just say magic powers?" She asked.
"Yes, magical powers, or would you rather stay in this prison until the end of time."
"Prison?" She said with a surprised look on her face.
"Yes, this is a prison for those who died with regrets in their past life. But if you want to get out of here, all you have to do is choose, between the magical prowess I'm offering you, or stay in this place until the end of time."
The information that where she was, was a prison, was just more than she could chew, that she couldn't make up her mind properly. That's when she started hearing other voices. But this time it was her own voice coming from the inside of her head.
"Take the offer." The first voice said.
"Don't do it!" The second voice said.
"If this is a prison. Then I need to get out of here." The third voice said
"What about you?" The fourth voice said.
"What about Shuuichi?" The fifth voice said.
"Just take his offer!" The first voice said aggressively.
"Magic powers." The sixth voice said.
And with this happening inside her head. She said. "I, I, want power. " as she started to tremble again.
"Good." The voice said.
White dust particles started to gather underneath her legs, creating a silver circular plate like mat *In her eyes.*
"Stand there, and let us begin."
A few seconds later, as Miyoko was trying to stand on the plate, the voice added.
"We'll be getting rid of some of your memories, in older for this to work. So choose wisely."
"Memories!" She asked surprisingly.
The voice stayed quite for a second, and with a deep breath, it added.
"Yes, your memories, or this won't work. Maybe you've changed your mind."
"No." She replied.
"Then stand one the mat, and focus on what you wan' t to get rid of. "
She stood on the mat, while thinking of what to forget and what to keep. What she didn't know was that the voice didn't care about her memories, all it wanted was just to feed on her soul, and use her remains as it's vessel, for it to go to the human realm.
She closed her eyes while standing on the light, while thinking about what kind of memories she would give away, in order to get out of the abyss.
But as she was thinking. Some of her memories started appearing around her, in form of solid pictures. She had no idea that this was happening since her eyes were closed.
"Hmmm." The voice muttered, as Miyoko was still thinking. It saw Yuuki several times in some of Miyoko's memories, thouse were swearing around her. And it suddenly changed it's mind about the memories, and said.
"Time's up."
'What?! But I haven't even chosen anything yet.' She thought.
"I said, time's up."
She opened her eyes slowly, and saw some of the memories that were visible vanishing in front of her. She didn't get a good look, since the moment she started to open her eyes, the visible memories had already started to vanish, the moment she stopped thinking of what to get rid of. She thought it could have been the voice.
"Now, let us begin."
"Bu-" Miyoko uttered.
"Listen, do you want to get out of here, or not." The voice asked.
Miyoko didn't answer the voice's question. She decided to stay quite, but her silence alone, was a good enough answer for the voice.
Suddenly, the silver circular plate (the mat), started glowing brighter than before. The white mat and Miyoko's golden light started to fuse together.
Out of the blue, as the light from the mat and her golden light were fusing together, she closed her eyes and she saw some kind of a version. Were there was a blue haired girl destroying countless countries and cities all at once. She also heard a voice saying "So, this is the power of destruction."
"Huh?" She uttered in curiosity.
In order for Miyoko to carry out the voice's task. First, the voice gave her the magical prowess to destroy it's enemies in a blink of an eye. And it showed her how effective the prowess was. But Miyoko was surprised by this, that she asked the voice, why it gave her that kind of power. But the voice didn't answer.
Suddenly, her golden form, also started glowing brighter than before, canceling out the silver circular plate's bright light.
'What's going on?' She thought while looking at the silver circular plate and her fit.
'Is this a side effect of the magic....'
In a flash, her golden figure slit into to two new diffent colored figures. One of the figures was colored blue, while the other one, white.
The blue spirit remained standing on the light, while the other started floating again, due to insufficient space, on the silver circular plate.
"What the?" The voice said with a surprised tone.
This wasn't the voice's doing, and it was not part of the voice's plans. But since the blue spirit remained standing on the light. The process continued automatically.
It almost seemed like time and motion stopped completely, due to the silence and lack of movement of the light particles.
Not even the two figures were able to move, cause the blue figure lost all it's memories, and at that moment, it was like an empty shell. Meanwhile, the white figure lost consciousness.
A moment later, as the voice was figuring out what to do next cause things were not going according to it's plan. In the unknown a portal opened next to the white figure. And like a vacuum the white figure was sucked into it.
As the white figure was being sucked into the portal, a new voice coming from the inside of the portal said, "Not today, guttern."
"Huh?" The first voice muttered
The portal closed, but the blue figure remained in the unknown. The fusion process failed, cause it needed a complete soul for it to continue taking place, but since Miyoko's golden figure split into two, this process was no longer possible. And the silver circular plate and the blue figure fused temporary.
"Chinos, that traitor. What does he take me for." The voice said with some anger in it's tone. By saying Chinos, the voice is referring to the other voice's name.
The voice knew where Chinos had taken the white figure. So it decided to send the other figure to go and find the white figure by controlling it, since it had no memories. So at the time it was like a doll.
Elsewhere, in a world named Avallon, there was a land called Melcelut, inside a huge continent known as Erosia.
Were people where gathering around the capital of Mel (Melcelut in short), in order to celebrate the king is birthday and buy cheap products, because it was also a market day.
