The Lady Zenas signaled that the other lady came closer and she did, with a fan covering her mouth, Lady Zenas spoke again.
"I know a maid who knows another maid, who knows one of the empress's Ladies in waiting, who is the lover of a knight who happened to be a friend of the knight who was asked to deliver the head of Emperor Ceteus to the northerners." She explained with much seriousness and the recipient of her explanation took in all the information with equal seriousness.
