Hey guys! Exams are on hold thanks to the literal fog of war (because of course that's a thing now), so… yeah.
Surprise, I'm back to writing. Temporarily. Until the next disaster rolls in. Or until I trip on my own ambition again.
Let's Talk About This Mess We Call a Story:
Rebooting the Brain:
It's been a hot minute since I last wrote anything for this fic, so my brain might need a few kicks to remember how this world works. That said, I've made a bold, completely unsupervised decision:
I'm not posting any new chapters until I've written 7 in advance.
If I fail (very likely), then we're going back to the chaos of day-by-day releases. Again. Like fools.
Early Chapters? Yikes.
I re-read the story during the downtime, and, uh… yeah. The early chapters? They're rough. Like drunken-taijutsu-practice-on-a-typewriter rough and filled with ChatGPT's footprints all over it.
So I'll be editing those too, till I make it look like I didn't use AI (like it's an assignment LOL) but let's be real, the newer chapters are the priority because nobody reads chapter 1 once they've seen chapter 91.
The Great Chakra Point Retcon:
Remember that chakra point/health point nonsense I introduced early on? Yeah, that's been taken out back and quietly buried.
Why? Because it started limiting the story like a budget cap in a Michael Bay movie.
So from this point onward, no more chakra point numbers. Just vibes and terrifying jutsu.
As for the old chapters? They're staying the way they are unless I get divine inspiration or a helpful spreadsheet from one of you nerds.
If anyone has clever ideas on how to salvage or reframe the chakra system, drop them in the comments, I'm reading.
