Hopping off my desk and walking to the door, she replied without turning back.

As the two of us descended the staircase, I suddenly almost slipped as a loud noise echoed from the common room.
As I grasped onto the handrail, barely managing to halt my fall, Mira placed a single finger over her lips, signaling me to hush, and quietly said.
"Someone's in the kitchen."
Deadpanning, I stepped onto the floor of the common room and mockingly said while pointing at her.
"...oh really? I couldn't tell from the sound of those pots banging together. Real observer over here!"
Strolling past the couches, she ignored my taunt and replied back.
"Oh, don't blame me for your fall. You tripped by yourself."
