Chapter 73 – A Moment of Care

The night was quiet, and the silence in Alex's apartment was interrupted only by the low sound of an instrumental song he had put on to relax. He was sitting on the couch, reading a book, when he heard the door open. Charlize came in carrying her bag and a coat, clearly exhausted. Her shoulders were hunched, and her steps were dragging.

"Hey, are you okay?" Alex asked, putting the book aside and standing up to meet her.

"Long day," Charlize replied, sighing as she dropped her bag on the floor and her coat on the nearest chair. "We had a lot of scenes today. Looks like the director wanted to shoot everything in one take."

Alex smiled, coming closer to kiss her on the forehead.

"Looks like someone needs a little care."

Charlize laughed lightly, although she was still visibly tired.

"All I want now is a hot bath and maybe sleep for a year."

Alex held her hands, looking straight into her eyes.

"Or… you could let me take care of you tonight. How about that?"

She raised an eyebrow, curious.

"Take care of me?"

"That's right. Take off your clothes and lie down. I'll give you a massage."

Charlize laughed, throwing her head back.

"Are you serious?"

"Totally serious. Trust me, you'll feel like a brand new person."

Charlize nodded, intrigued, and went to the bedroom. Alex, in turn, began to prepare everything. He grabbed a lavender-scented massage oil he kept in the bathroom for moments like this. He adjusted the lighting in the room, making it soft and cozy, and changed the music to something even more relaxing.

When Charlize came back, she was wearing only a silk robe, and her blonde hair was tied up in a messy bun.

"Okay, Mr. Therapist, I'm ready." Alex smiled and gestured to the bed, where he had already laid out a large towel.

"Lie down on your stomach and relax."

She complied, laughing as she settled into the bed.

"That sounds too professional. Do you have any practice at this?"

"A little. Massages help relieve muscle tension. And, well, I spent years carrying heavy backpacks and equipment across all sorts of terrain. I've learned the importance of taking care of your body."

Alex started on her back, pouring a little of the oil into his hands before rubbing them together to warm them. When he pressed his palms against her tense muscles, she let out a soft moan of relief.

"Oh my God, that feels amazing," she murmured, her eyes closed.

"You're all tense here," Alex commented, focusing on her shoulders. "I think you're carrying the weight of the world."

"Or maybe just the weight of an entire cast," Charlize teased, laughing softly.

Alex laughed along, but continued working in silence, using his thumbs to apply more pressure where he felt muscle knots. He moved carefully and precisely, focusing on the areas that seemed most strained.

"How did you learn to do this?" Charlize asked, her voice sleepy.

"Some of my colleagues in the regiment were good at it, so I learned some techniques. But then again… I guess I just observe what the body needs."

Charlize opened one eye and looked at him over her shoulder.

"You're good at this. I almost wonder if you chose the wrong profession."

Alex lightly slapped the back of her thigh, laughing.

"Don't start that."

She laughed again and closed her eyes, sinking further into the bed.

As he continued the massage, Alex realized how special this moment was. They came from such different worlds, but in that moment, none of that mattered.

"You have magical hands," Charlize commented, her voice a whisper.

— Or maybe you're just really tired — he replied with a smile.

— Maybe both.

He moved on to her legs, massaging them carefully and attentively, feeling the muscles relax under his hands. Charlize looked like she was almost falling asleep, which made Alex smile. He loved seeing her like this, so vulnerable and at ease.

When he was done, he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on the back of her neck.

— All done. How do you feel?

Charlize turned slowly, pulling the robe up to cover herself as she looked at him with a lazy smile.

— As good as new. Thank you, Alex. Seriously, that was exactly what I needed.

Alex shrugged, feigning modesty.

— That's what I'm here for.

She took his hand and pulled him closer.

— You do so much more than that.

After the massage, Charlize insisted that they relax together on the couch. She snuggled into his side, laying her head on his shoulder as they watched a movie she had chosen.

"You know, I could get used to this," she said, her eyes still on the screen.

"With what?"

"With you taking care of me like this."

Alex smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"I could get used to this too."

And for one night, the two allowed themselves to forget the outside world, focusing only on the peace and comfort they found in each other.

Chapter 74 – Joining Forces for Good

The sound of children playing echoed through the makeshift camp where Charlize's NGO had set up its operations. It was a remote location in Africa, with medical tents, a food distribution area, and a small play area for local children. Charlize was in her element, moving between volunteers and residents, organizing supplies and talking to families.

Alex, meanwhile, stood a few feet away, keeping a close eye on his surroundings. Dressed in a tight black T-shirt and cargo pants, he was the picture of security and vigilance. His eyes constantly scanned the perimeter, and his walkie-talkie was always at hand.

"Is everything okay?" Charlize asked as she approached him, holding a clipboard with notes on it.

"So far, yes," Alex replied, without taking his eyes off the horizon. "But there's always that moment of calm before something unexpected happens."

Charlize smiled softly.

"Do you really think something's going to happen here?" — It's not about what I think, Charlize. It's about being prepared for what might happen.

Alex had started helping Charlize with her humanitarian missions shortly after retiring from the SAS. He knew her security experience would be valuable, especially in volatile areas where NGOs were easy targets for armed groups. He was initially reluctant to get involved directly, but Charlize convinced him that he could make a difference.

"You've spent years protecting people in difficult situations," she had said during a conversation months earlier. "Now you can use those skills to protect those who really need it."

And she was right. Alex had quickly taken responsibility for the security of the NGO's operations. He trained volunteers in basic security protocols, organized evacuation routes, and liaised with local forces to provide extra protection if needed.

"Alex!" called one of the local coordinators, a man named Samuel. "We've had a report that an armed group has been spotted a few kilometres from here."

Alex frowned and immediately reached for his radio.

— Thanks, Samuel. I'll check it out.

Charlize watched as Alex quickly took charge of the situation. He communicated with local security, increased patrols, and made sure volunteers were informed without causing panic.

"You make it sound easy," Charlize said, impressed by his calm and efficiency.

Alex shrugged.

"Just another day on the job."

In between his stakeouts, Alex found time to interact with the locals. He would sit with the youngsters, teaching them simple games, or help the local men with heavy tasks.

"He's so serious, but the kids love him," Charlize told a volunteer as she watched Alex show a group of boys how to tie knots with rope.

"That's because he looks like an action hero," the volunteer replied, laughing.

Charlize smiled, knowing there was truth to that. Alex had a presence that drew people in, even if he didn't realize it himself.

One of the children, a girl named Amara, had become particularly attached to him. She would follow him around the camp, holding his hand and asking him endless questions.

"Are you a soldier?" she asked one day, looking at him curiously.

"Yes," Alex replied with a smile. "Now, I only look out for people like you."

Amara smiled, clearly pleased with the answer.

During a break, Charlize and Alex sat under the shade of a tree. She looked out over the camp, where volunteers and locals worked together.

"Did you know you're doing more than just security here?" she asked.

Alex looked at her, puzzled.

"What do you mean?"

"You're showing these people that there's someone who cares enough to protect them. That makes all the difference."

Alex was silent for a moment, absorbing her words.

"I guess I never thought of it that way. It was always just… doing the job."

Charlize took his hand.

— But it's more than that. And it's one of the reasons I love you.

Alex smiled, squeezing her hand back.

That night, Alex was awakened by the sound of hurried footsteps. He quickly pulled on his boots and grabbed the radio.

"Alex, this is Samuel. There's strange movement on the east side of the camp."

Alex headed toward the scene, Charlize right behind him, insisting on following him.

"Stay behind me, and don't expose yourself," he said firmly.

When they arrived, they found two local security guards talking to a group of armed men. Alex immediately sensed the tension in the situation.

"Who are they?" he asked Samuel.

"They say they want supplies, but they don't seem to be locals."

Alex approached calmly, his hands raised.

"Good evening, gentlemen," he said firmly. "How can I help you?"

The leader of the group looked at him, assessing him.

"We need food and water."

"I understand," Alex replied. "We can share what we have, but we don't want any trouble."

After a brief negotiation, the armed men grabbed some supplies and left without incident. Charlize breathed a sigh of relief as they disappeared into the darkness.

"How did you do that?" she asked, still tense.

"Most people just want to be heard," Alex replied. "Even the ones with guns."

When the mission was over, Charlize and Alex returned home, exhausted but satisfied.

"I don't know how you do this every day," Alex said, as he made coffee in the kitchen of their apartment.

"And I don't know how you spent so many years under fire," Charlize replied, sitting down at the table.

They laughed, enjoying the quiet moment.

"I think we make a good team," Alex said, handing him a cup of coffee.

Charlize smiled, looking at him fondly.

"I don't think so. I'm sure."

And as they planned their next mission together, they both knew that no matter where they went or what they faced, they would always have each other.

Chapter 75 – A New Home in Los Angeles

The gray London sky contrasted with the light spring breeze that blew through the streets. Alex and Charlize walked hand in hand through the Notting Hill neighborhood, both lost in their own thoughts. He was getting used to the idea of no longer being an active SAS operator, while she thought about how to balance her ever-changing life with the relationship she was building with Alex.

"Alex, have you thought about where you want to live?" Charlize asked, breaking the silence.

He looked at her, his blue eyes showing a calmness that she was beginning to recognize as his new characteristic.

"To be honest, London has always been a safe haven for me. But... I know it's not practical for you. Your career is in the United States, and I want to be where you are."

Charlize stopped, squeezing his hand.

"You know this means a lot to me, right? But I also want you to feel at home."

He smiled.

"My home is wherever you are." Back at Alex's Mayfair apartment, the two began to discuss their next steps. Charlize, a glass of wine in hand, was scrolling through listings for Los Angeles properties on her laptop.

"Here's a house in Beverly Hills. Big, with a pool, a garden…" she said, turning the computer toward Alex.

He took one look and raised an eyebrow.

"It looks more like a resort than a house."

Charlize laughed.

"Well, it's Los Angeles. You're not going to find anything simple there."

Alex leaned back on the couch, thinking about what she had said.

"I trust you. Choose a place that works for your life and that's good for both of us."

She put the laptop aside and moved closer to him.

"Are you really willing to move halfway around the world for me?"

He pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her.

"I'm not just moving to a place. I'm starting a new life with you." A few weeks later, the couple landed in Los Angeles. The sunlight was on their faces as they walked out of the airport, and Alex had to put on his sunglasses to adjust to the glare.

"Welcome to the City of Angels," Charlize said, holding his hand.

"It looks different from anything I'm used to," Alex admitted, looking out at the tall buildings and palm trees that decorated the skyline.

They drove straight to a hotel in West Hollywood, where they would stay while they looked for a house. Charlize had scheduled viewings with a real estate agent who promised to show them the best options in the city.

The next morning, Charlize and Alex met with the agent, an energetic woman named Lisa.

"You two make a beautiful couple," Lisa said as she drove. "I'm sure we can find something perfect for you."

The first house was a modern one with glass walls and views of the Hollywood Hills. Alex walked around the space, taking everything in carefully.

"It's not bad," he said, looking at Charlize.

"But it's not that," she replied, nodding.

After visiting a few more properties, they arrived at a spacious house in Brentwood. With a large garden, a pool, and a cozy interior, Charlize was enchanted at first sight.

"It's perfect," she said, walking through the bright living room.

Alex stood beside her, looking at the house with a critical eye.

"It has potential," he admitted, smiling.

Charlize laughed.

"Does that mean you like it?"

He pulled her into a hug.

"Yes, it means I like it."

After the purchase was finalized, Alex and Charlize began transforming the house into a home. Alex, with his hands-on approach, assembled furniture and took care of the technical details, while Charlize chose decorations and colors for the rooms.

"I don't think I've ever assembled so much furniture in my life," Alex joked, as he finished assembling a bookcase for the living room.

Charlize appeared with two glasses of wine.

"You're doing really well for someone who's never had to worry about this before."

He took the glass and raised it.

"Here's to our new home."

"To our new life together," Charlize added.

They clinked glasses, and as the sun set over Los Angeles, Alex looked at Charlize, feeling more at peace than ever.

Over time, Alex had adjusted to life in Los Angeles. He began helping Charlize with her charitable endeavors and even took on a security advisory role for a few Hollywood productions.

One night, as they were cooking dinner together, Charlize looked at Alex and smiled.

"Did you know how great you're doing in this new life?"

He laughed, stirring the pot on the stove.

"Well, it's not exactly what I used to do, but I'm enjoying it."

She moved closer, wrapping her arms around him.

"And I'm enjoying having you here."

Alex kissed her on the forehead, feeling grateful to have found someone he could build a new life.

As they ate dinner by candlelight, they both knew that no matter where they were, what really mattered was being together.

Chapter 76 – The Meeting of Two Realities

It was a sunny morning in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Alex and Charlize's house was buzzing with the hustle and bustle of preparations. Alex, with a cup of coffee in his hand, checked the last details while Charlize watched, amused by his meticulous manner.

"Do you always get this nervous when you're going to introduce someone important?" Charlize asked, as she adjusted a cushion on the couch.

Alex shrugged, trying to appear relaxed.

"It's not nervousness. I just want everything to be perfect. Jack is like family to me, and…" He paused, choosing his words. "I want her to like you as much as I do."

Charlize smiled and approached, touching his face affectionately.

"I'm sure I'll like her. And if she's like family to you, then she already means a lot to me."

A little later, the sound of a car pulling up in the driveway announced Jack's arrival. Alex walked to the door, opening it before she could even knock.

"Jack!" Alex said with a warm smile, pulling her into a tight hug.

Jack, now in her early fifties, looked radiant. She was wearing comfortable clothes and carrying a wrapped gift in her hands.

"Alex! It's great to see you!" she said, hugging him back tightly.

When they parted, Jack looked inside the house and saw Charlize, who was politely waiting in the living room.

"And this must be Charlize!" Jack exclaimed, approaching with a genuine smile.

Charlize smiled, reaching out to shake her hand, but Jack surprised her with a warm hug.

"Alex has talked about you so much that I feel like I already know you!" Jack said, laughing.

"I hope only good things," Charlize replied jokingly, as she returned the hug.

Jack laughed.

"Only good things, I promise."

Later, the three of them were in the garden, where Alex had set up a table with tea and snacks. Charlize and Jack chatted like old friends, and Alex watched with a satisfied smile.

"So, you met him in London?" Jack asked curiously.

Charlize nodded.

"Yes, it was at an official event. He was so mysterious that I was curious to know who he was."

Jack laughed, looking at Alex.

"He's always been good at being discreet. But don't think he's that hard to read. Deep down, Alex is an open book, at least to those he trusts."

Charlize smiled, looking at Alex fondly.

"I think I'm starting to understand that."

Alex shook his head, pretending to be uncomfortable with the attention.

"Don't start analyzing me."

Jack chuckled.

"You put yourself in that position, kid."

As the afternoon wore on, Jack shared stories from the time when Alex was just a young man at the beginning of his career.

"You should have seen him in the kitchen when he was a teenager. He would try to cook something simple and end up burning everything," Jack said, laughing.

Charlize laughed, looking at Alex, who rolled his eyes in mock indignation. "That was a long time ago. I'm a master in the kitchen now, in case you hadn't noticed."

"Master is a bit of an exaggeration, don't you think?" Charlize teased, with a smile.

Jack watched the two interact and smiled. "It's good to see you like this, Alex. Happy."

He looked at Jack, his eyes full of gratitude. "And I owe a lot of that to you, Jack."

As the night drew to a close, Charlize and Jack seemed to have developed a natural connection. They talked about their interests, their pasts, and of course, Alex.

"I just want you to know, Charlize, that he's like a son to me. And seeing you two together, I know he's in good hands," Jack said, holding Charlize's hand.

Charlize was touched.

"Thank you, Jack. This means a lot to me. And I promise to take good care of him."

Alex, who was returning with more tea, heard the end of the conversation and smiled.

"You two bonded too quickly. Should I be worried?"

Jack chuckled.

"Don't worry, Alex. We're still your allies."

When it was time for Jack to leave, Alex walked her to the car while Charlize tidied up the kitchen.

"It was an amazing afternoon," Jack said, hugging Alex. "I'm so happy for you, Alex."

"Thank you, Jack. You've always been my rock."

She smiled, touching his face affectionately.

"And now you have someone to be that for you too. Enjoy this new phase."

He nodded, holding her hand for a moment before letting her get into the car.

When Alex came back inside, he found Charlize sitting on the couch, staring thoughtfully at a photo of him and Jack that was on the table.

— Are you okay? — he asked, sitting down next to her.

Charlize smiled.

— She's wonderful, Alex. Now I understand why you talk about her so much.

He put his arm around her, pulling her close.

— And now she really likes you. I guess I'm lucky.

She laughed, leaning her head against his shoulder.

"We're both lucky, Alex."

As night fell over Los Angeles, Alex felt more at peace than he had ever felt before. He knew that with Charlize by his side and Jack always close by, he was exactly where he was supposed to be.

Chapter 77 – The Man Out of the Spotlight

The ballroom was dazzling. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling in delicate tiers, casting a golden glow over the crowd of celebrities, businessmen, and artists milling about the event. Men in impeccable suits and women in haute couture gowns chatted animatedly, while photographers captured every glamorous moment.

Alex adjusted the knot of his black tie, feeling out of his comfort zone. He was used to the weight of tactical gear, the smell of gunpowder, and the stress of dangerous missions, but this environment was completely different. Beside him, Charlize Theron, in a long blue satin dress that highlighted her elegant figure, looked the personification of perfection.

"Are you okay?" Charlize asked, noticing the slight discomfort on Alex's face.

He smiled, pulling her lightly by the waist.

"I am. I'm just trying to get used to all these cameras." He looked around, watching the flashes going off every few seconds. — But you look amazing, as always.

Charlize laughed softly, running her hand down his arm.

— And you look wonderful. Even with all that tension on your face.

As they walked down the red carpet, Charlize greeted friends and acquaintances, while Alex maintained a polite but reserved smile. He knew he was just a date that night, and he was happy to support Charlize, even if it wasn't his kind of environment.

— Charlize, honey! — called a famous actress, approaching for a warm hug. — Who is this stunning man next to you?

Charlize smiled, holding Alex's arm proudly.

— This is Alex. My boyfriend.

The actress looked at him curiously.

— Alex? And what do you do?

Alex hesitated for a moment, but answered with the same phrase he always used in these situations.

— I work in security.

The actress raised her eyebrows, intrigued, but didn't insist.

— Well, he's charming. Congratulations, Charlize.

Charlize just smiled, squeezing Alex's hand tighter as they walked on.

Inside the room, Alex found himself surrounded by famous faces he recognized from movies and television. Despite his calm appearance, he was constantly scanning the room, a habit that had never left him.

"Want a drink?" Charlize asked, pointing to the bar.

"Sure. Something light."

As she walked away, Alex took the moment to breathe. He leaned against a nearby wall, watching the movement. His mind wandered for a moment, reflecting on how his life had changed. From missions in war zones to luxurious events in Los Angeles, it was a surreal contrast.

Charlize returned with two glasses of wine, handing one to Alex.

"Still uncomfortable?" she asked, leaning slightly toward him.

He smiled, looking at her with admiration.

"A little, but you make it all worth it." She laughed, touching his face tenderly.

"You always know what to say."

As they walked through the ballroom, some guests began to recognize Alex, not by name, but by the rumors about "Charlize Theron's mystery man."

"That's him, isn't it? Her boyfriend," one guest whispered to another.

"Yes, but no one knows exactly who he is. He just seems to be someone important."

Charlize noticed the looks and whispers, but naturally ignored them. Alex, who wasn't used to being the center of attention, did his best to maintain his composure.

At one point, a famous director approached.

"Charlize, you always bring the most interesting people to events. Alex, right?"

"Right," Alex replied, shaking the man's hand.

"You seem like a man of action. Who knows, maybe one day you could appear in one of my films?" the director joked, laughing.

Alex just smiled politely.

— I think I'd rather stay backstage.

After a while, Charlize realized that Alex needed a moment of rest.

— Shall we go to the balcony? It's quieter there.

They stepped outside, where the music and muffled conversations gave way to a silent, starry night. Alex sighed in relief, leaning against the railing.

— Thank you.

Charlize leaned against his side, looking up at the stars.

— I know this isn't your world. But I really appreciate you being here with me.

He looked at her, a soft smile on his lips.

— I'd do anything for you, Charlize. Even if it means facing cameras and celebrities.

She smiled, leaning in to kiss him.

When they returned to the ballroom, Charlize was called in for a brief interview. Alex stood to the side, watching her in awe as she spoke with confidence and charm.

— She's amazing, isn't she? — asked a man next to Alex, whom he recognized as a famous actor.

— Yes, it is — Alex replied, with a proud smile.

The actor laughed.

— Lucky you. But she's lucky, too. You seem like a solid guy.

Alex nodded, turning his attention back to Charlize.

When the event was over, they walked out together, Alex holding Charlize by the waist as the flashing cameras followed them.

"We survived the night," Charlize said, smiling as they got into the car.

"We survived," Alex agreed, taking her hand. "But next time, I want to take you somewhere where I feel more at home."

She laughed.

"And where would that be?"

"A quiet retreat, no cameras. Just the two of us."

Charlize smiled, leaning in to kiss him.

"Sounds perfect."

As the car drove through the bright streets of Los Angeles, Alex realized that even in a world so different from his own, being with Charlize made it all worth it.

Chapter 78 – The Iron Man of the Gym

The luxury gym in Los Angeles was packed, as usual. The sound of weights hitting the floor, electronic music pulsing from the sound system, and muffled conversations filled the room.

Alex maintained his rigorous workout routine, not only out of habit, but also as a way to keep his mind and body disciplined. He wore a tight gray T-shirt that highlighted his broad shoulders and defined biceps, and black shorts that showed off his muscular legs.

As he entered the free weights area, Alex caught the attention of almost everyone around him, especially the women. He ignored the stares and whispers, focusing solely on his workout. He selected an Olympic bar and began his series of deadlifts with impeccable technique.

As Alex continued, the women in the gym couldn't look away.

"Who is he?" a young woman whispered to her friend, both adjusting their clothes to look more attractive.

"I have no idea, but he's gorgeous!" — her friend replied, watching Alex as he loaded more weight plates onto the bar.

A few women began to approach, disguising themselves by using equipment close to him.

"Hi, could you help me with this?" asked a tall blonde, holding a dumbbell with a wide smile.

Alex glanced at her quickly, with a neutral expression.

"You should ask one of the instructors for help. They're over here." He pointed to one of the trainers.

"Oh... sure, thanks," the woman replied, visibly disappointed.

Another woman tried to make conversation while he took his break between sets.

"Do you come here often?" asked a brunette in a tight top.

Alex wiped the sweat from his face with a towel, showing no interest.

"Yes, whenever I can." He answered politely but shortly, before returning to his workout.

Meanwhile, Charlize Theron was home after a long meeting about a new movie. She was relaxing on the couch, scrolling through her Instagram feed when she came across photos and videos from the gym they went to. In one of them, Alex was clearly surrounded by women trying to talk to him.

"Oh, great…" Charlize muttered, rolling her eyes.

She clicked on the video and saw Alex working out while women blatantly stared at him. Some even tried to start conversations.

Charlize bit her lower lip, feeling a pang of jealousy. Although she knew Alex was extremely loyal, the attention he received bothered her.

She called him immediately.

Alex's phone vibrated in his pocket as he finished his last set of bench presses. He glanced at the screen and saw Charlize's name.

"Hi, honey," he answered, his voice slightly breathless.

"You're at the gym, right?" Charlize asked, her tone casual but with a hint of curiosity.

"Yeah, why?"

— Oh, I'm just looking at some pictures and videos... it seems like you're surrounded by admirers.

Alex laughed softly, shaking his head.

— You know I don't pay attention to those things. I'm just here to train.

— I know, but still... it's a little annoying to see these women all over you.

— Don't worry, Charlize. I only have eyes for you. — He smiled, even though he knew she couldn't see him. — Do you want me to come home soon?

— Yes, please. — Despite his jealous tone, there was a hint of amusement in his voice.

When Alex got home, Charlize was on the couch, waiting for him. She crossed her arms and pretended to be upset.

— So... how was your workout, Mr. Popular?

Alex dropped his bag on the floor and walked over to her, an amused smile on his face.

— Normal. I lifted weights, did a few sets, and apparently became the target of a group of curious women.

Charlize tried to keep her expression serious, but she couldn't help but smile.

"You don't make it easy, do you? It almost seems like you do it on purpose."

Alex knelt in front of her, holding her hands.

"Charlize, you know there's no one in the world I want more than you."

She sighed, finally relaxing.

"I know. It's just... you're so handsome that it's hard not to get jealous sometimes."

"And you think I don't feel that way when you're surrounded by famous actors or paparazzi?" He laughed. "But I trust you, and I hope you trust me too."

She smiled, caressing his face.

"I do. I just like to tease you sometimes."

After a quick shower, Alex and Charlize spent the rest of the night together. They watched a movie, laughed, and talked about their future plans.

As they lay on the couch, Alex held her tightly in his arms.

— You know, no matter where I am or who is around, you will always be the only one for me.

Charlize smiled, kissing him softly.

— And I will never let you forget that.

The night ended in laughter and affection, strengthening their bond even more between them. Alex knew his life had changed drastically, but with Charlize by his side, he felt he could face any challenge.
