Chapter 267 - Chapter 267: The Skill Master Of The Dragon Tamer Clan

"It's such a headache.

The 10 Pokémon used at the Indigo Plateau Conference are all Gary's main Pokémon, and their levels are relatively high, especially the strongest Blastoise, Tyranitar, and Zapdos, which cannot be used.

You should know that this time at the Silver Conference, Ash will use Kanto Region Breeder Pokémon.

Under Gary's intentional or unintentional training, Ash's current strength is one level stronger than the original.

The Pokémon of Kanto Region Breeder before Ash are naturally not weak.

The last time they parted at Silver Rock Island, Ash's Pikachu was already level 58.

It is estimated that by the time they reach the Silver Conference, it is very likely to reach level 60 and enter the Elite level.

Gary's other Pokémon are also not weak. Charizard and Snorlax must have the strength of the quasi-Elite level, not to mention other trainers like Harrison who defeated Ash.

Even if Harrison only stopped at the top four of the Silver Conference, it means that the players of the Silver Conference are one level stronger than the players at the Indigo Plateau Conference in terms of overall strength.

The one who defeated Harrison, Trainer Jon, is the champion of the Silver Conference, but this guy was able to win because Ash severely injured Harrison's Blaziken and he did not recover before the game, otherwise Jon would not have had a chance to win the championship. He is a lucky guy.

Although the main Pokémon were banned, it did not have much impact. Gary had more than 30 Pokémon, which was enough to deal with the Silver Conference.

But Gary was thinking about whether the tasks issued by the system for the Alliance Conferences that he would challenge in the future would also have such requirements.

Then the Pokémon used in Silver conference could not be used again.

Then go to Sinnoh Region to participate in the Lily of the Valley Conference. How to deal with the Tobias? From the battle between Ash and the Tobias, the strength of the Pokémon in the Tobias's hand is at the Elite level.

It's still a little short of the championship level.

Therefore, this Silver Conference, Gary must try to use fewer Pokémon to win the championship, otherwise there will be no Pokémon to use in the Alliance Conferences in the future.

After determining which Pokémon were banned, Gary went to Blackthorn City in the afternoon to visit the house where the skill teaching master of the city lives.

Arrived at the door of the skill teaching master's room.

Gary looked at the house in front of him. It was a very simple house.

Compared with the witch's mansion in Sevii Islands, it was very different. This made Gary doubt the level of this skill master.

Gary went forward and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?"

An old voice came from the door, and then the door opened. A hunchbacked old man stood in the door.

The old man looked very old, at least 80 years old.

"Hello, grandpa, are you a skill master?" Gary asked.

"Yes." The old man nodded slightly and said, "From your appearance, you are not from the town, right?"

"My name is Gary, from Pallet Town in the Kanto Region. I heard that there is a master of ultimate skill teaching in Blackthorn City, so I came here to learn," Gary said.

The old man nodded and continued, "Since you are here to learn ultimate skills, you should know that only certain Pokémon can learn them. Which Pokémon do you want to learn?"

"It's Charizard."

"Charizard, you can learn it. Let your Charizard out for me to see," the old man said.

Although the old man looked very mysterious, Gary doubted his teaching ability. After all, the old man was too old.

Gary followed the old man's instructions and released Charizard.

"Oh..." Seeing Charizard, the old man's slightly narrowed eyes finally opened and commented, "Your Charizard is well-bred, with high potential, and is qualified to learn Blast Burn."

"Then grandpa, when can you start teaching?" Gary asked.

Although he doubted the old man's ability, there was no other place to learn ultimate skills at the moment. He couldn't go to Sevii Islands now.

"Tomorrow, just pay two million," the old man said.

"Two million...!"

Gary's eyebrows jumped wildly. It was not that he could not afford the money, but the Sevii Islands only charged one million, and you asked for two million. This is a rip-off.

Gary can accept being ripped off, but the premise is that he does not know the price, just treat it as paying an IQ tax.

And now Gary knows the teaching fee of the ultimate skill, if you insist on two million, Gary can't stand it.

"Ultimate skills are difficult to learn, and two million is not expensive at all," the old man reminded.

"Is it 100% guaranteed that you will learn it?" Gary asked.

"No, I will only teach you for one month. Whether you can learn it depends on your Pokémon's own luck," the old man said.

"The Sevii Islands only teach ultimate skills for one million, grandpa, you want two million, isn't it too expensive..." Gary said.

The old man was stunned, he didn't expect Gary to have learned from other skill masters, but the old man said calmly, "Then your Charizard hasn't mastered Blast Burn, which means the skill master you found is not good enough to teach."

"I went to learn Hydro Cannon, not Blast Burn, and I also learned it," Gary said.

The old man sweated profusely, and found that the boy in front of him was not so easy to fool, but he would not lower the price.

Old man said, "This is my price. If you think it's too expensive, then go to Sevii Islands to learn."

"No need, just learn the skill here," Gary said.

Just think of it as being cheated, two million is not too expensive anyway, and Gary doesn't have time to go to Sevii Islands again.

Sevii Islands are far away from Blackthorn City, and it takes a long time to go back and forth.

Moreover, Gary wants to join in the event of Celebi, so it is impossible for him to leave Johto Region in the near future.

"Can I pay by credit card?" Gary asked.

"Of course."

The old man returned to the room and took out the credit card machine.

Gary looked at the number on the credit card machine, swiped the card directly, and paid two million.

The teaching will start tomorrow.

The next day.

Gary came to the old man's house as promised.

"Grandpa, where are we going for training?" Gary asked.

Learning ultimate skills still requires practice, and this is a city, which is definitely not possible.

"Come with me."

The old man rode his electric bike and took Gary to the northern suburbs of Blackthorn City. In front of a lake, there was a cave similar to a dragon's mouth.

When they arrived, Gary was dumbfounded. If he remembered correctly, this was Dragon's Den, which led to the Dragon Sanctuary.

"Grandpa, this is the Dragon's Den of the Dragon Clan, right? Outsiders are not allowed to approach," Gary asked in confusion.

"That's for sure, but I'm not an outsider," the old man said.

Gary was shocked. He realized that he didn't know the old man's name.

Since the other party dared to take him to Dragon's Den, it meant that the old man was a member of the Dragon Clan.

"Grandpa, are you a member of the Dragon Clan?" Gary asked.
