Kael burst through the shattered wall, the old stones crumbling like dry leaves behind him.
Dust and smoke trailed from his body as he landed on the rough ground outside, clutching the stolen briefcase tightly under one arm which he put in the storage ring in the mid air.
The cold air sliced across his skin, but the heat of adrenaline burned hotter in his veins. For a moment, the world stood still. Then an uproar began shaking the place.
Shouts followed by screams echoed.Orders barked in the chaos.

Without hesitation, Kael bolted down the alley, his boots hammering against the stone pavement.
His black cloak streamed behind him, blood from his grazed side dripping onto the ground.
Behind him, Mira's cold voice sliced through the rising panic like a whip.
"Shoot him down! No mercy!"
"INTRUDERS!"
"SHOOOT!''
The area Kael jumped was quite open.Soon huge flashlights were pinned onto him, which made him curse.
