Chapter 130 - Bearing Heavy News...

Grabbing hold of both Elves, Titus hugged as tightly as possible, leaping across the field as the beeping got quicker. Finding a stone cover, he threw them in, covering the opening using his body, Wootsforce flickering across his body.

KABOOM!

A huge explosion rocked the surroundings, debris flying everywhere. Thankfully, they had Titus to block the flying rocks and dust, otherwise they'd be dead by now.

After the earth settled from the huge explosion, Titus extricated himself from the opening (albeit in a hobbling manner), from where the duo peeked their heads out, wondering what the outside looked like after the huge explosion.

And they were not disappointed...

"*Whew*, damn, that's one hell of an explosion. Thank Illumia for the fact that there's no such thing as EPA here, otherwise we'd be fucked here..."

At his lighthearted attempt at cracking a joke, he was sorely disappointed to see them both quiet at the joke. Titus lay dead-eyed, while the little Elf tilted her head, confused at what 'EPA' meant. Sighing in defeat, he scratched his head, looking at the devastation the explosive horses wrought upon the land.

"Well, we're fucked..."

Riding as fast as they could, the duo (Plus a naive Elf) returned to the capital. Seeing that it was an emergency, the Palace guards, upon realising the heavy looks on their faces, immediately went to Celestine to inform her that they had returned from their investigation.

While waiting in the lobby, they discussed what they had collected from the bandit attack. "From the symbol the little lassie has told me, the one regarding a Demon's head surrounded by gears, levers and valves, they pertain to the Demon King's army. Now, the real question here is why on Earadun are the Humans and Demons cooperating..."

At this point, even Titus, with all his knowledge and wisdom, couldn't figure out why Humans were using Demonic creations. Just as they were deep in thought, a loud, high-pitched voice broke their train of thought. "Hey, hey losers! Whatcha' doing? I heard a giant and an Elf got caught breaking into some place they shouldn't go. Has her Highness finally decided on your punishment? Oooh, what's gonna happen to you~"

Out of one of the massive doors came a half-meter figure, flapping her crystalline wings rapidly. Sporting a pink bob cut and a long cowlick, she flew around the group, buzzing incessantly. Ticked, Duncan created a pseudo-swatter, trying his best to knock her from the sky. "Dammit you obnoxious arsenal, gerrof me head!"

Dodging every attempt, she stuck her tongue out once she realised he had given up on her. "Neh, neh, neh neh neh! Can't catch my toes~ Why don't you go back and suckon your mommy's–"

"Dame Vidia, could you please stop annoying His Highness! You know how much the Queen hates it when you cause your shenanigans. Please return to your position, until you are called for..."

Face scrunching in defeat, Vivian huffed in anger, before returning back to where she came from. "This ain't the end little snob..."

Turning his head, the Palace guard looked at the group, where he called upon them. "Please Sires, Her Highness wants to hear from you..."
