Chapter 33 - No Pera-33: Fallen Leaves, A New Dawn

🌿

A few days had passed since that laughter-filled afternoon at the canteen. The friendship between the four friends remained just as strong—but under the surface, a bit of tension had started to grow, especially between Garnet and Ayan. 😶‍🌫️💭

Tanid hadn't noticed at first. But one day, while walking along a street outside campus, Ohona said—

Ohona (softly): "Have you noticed how quiet Garnet and Ayan have become? They don't even sit together anymore..." 😔

Tanid (worried): "Yeah... something feels off. But neither of them is saying anything." 🤔

Both of them fell into silence, thinking. That evening, Tanid and Ohona invited Garnet for coffee. ☕ At a small coffee shop by the window, Garnet slowly began to open up about how he felt.

Garnet (with a heavy voice): "Honestly, I got hurt by something Ayan said... it was small, but it stuck with me." 💔

Ohona: "But your friendship is so much bigger than that, right? Ayan probably doesn't even realize you felt hurt. He said—'Garnet always does things his own way, never tries to understand anyone.' Do you really think that's true?" 😟

Garnet stayed quiet. Tanid sat beside him, head down.

Tanid: "Give Ayan a little time. But if you tell him how you feel directly, I think he'll understand." 💬🤝

They decided—these broken parts of their bond needed to be mended. 💫

The next day, Tanid and Ohona talked to Ayan too. He realized his mistake.

Ayan (with regret): "Friends like Garnet are rare. I just assumed he had changed... but you're right, maybe I was the one who didn't understand." 🥺

One small misunderstanding—yet such a big impact. But now, all four were back together in the canteen again. 😄✨And this time, there was a new glow in Tanid and Ohona's eyes... 💕👀

🍂

Amidst all this, something subtle was changing between Tanid and Ohona. After classes, they'd walk together, wander through bookshops in the evening, or sit quietly sipping tea in a café. 📚🍵🌆

One evening, Tanid asked—

Tanid (gently): "Ohona, what were you like before? I mean... you seem like someone who's been through a lot." 🧠💬

Ohona (smiling softly): "Maybe I have. I used to think it's better to keep everything to myself. But after meeting friends like you... I realized sharing lightens the heart." 🌸💞

Tanid (gazing at her): "You're a strong girl, you know that?" 🌟

Ohona: "Thank you... 😊"

Meanwhile, things were smoothing out between Garnet and Ayan too. 🤝

Garnet: "Bro Ayan, look—I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten so upset over something small. I did feel hurt, but it's okay now. Because nothing matters more than a friend." ❤️

Ayan: "Man, I was wrong too. I'm sorry as well. But you know what? This fight of ours... maybe it was a good thing." 🤔😅

Garnet: "Bro what are you even saying...!?" 😳

Ayan: "No no, don't get me wrong... I mean—because of us, look at Tanid and Ohona now..." 😏😉

Garnet: "Hah, looks like things really turned around." 😄

Ayan: "Everything happens for a reason, right?" 🌈✨
