"Wow! That was amazing! Is this the Bifrost? Can we do that again?!"
Upon arriving in Asgard, Kagura couldn't hold back her excitement.
"That was so cool! So, so cool!"
"Haha!" Thor laughed heartily. "The Bifrost is Asgard's pride and joy. It's the all-powerful bridge that has carried the glory of our people for countless millennia."
"It allows us to travel freely across the Nine Realms."
"It's been a while since I've heard you praise the Bifrost like that, Prince Thor," came a deep voice from the bridge's control platform. "Welcome back."
Standing there was a man clad in gleaming golden armor, dark-skinned and regal—none other than Heimdall, the all-seeing gatekeeper of Asgard, protector of the Bifrost, and Thor's trusted friend.
"And you welcome to Asgard, Princess Kagura."
Heimdall turned toward Kagura, gave her a warm smile, and bowed his head respectfully. "The All-Father, Odin, is awaiting your arrival."
"Wait... Wha—?!"
Kagura blinked in confusion, completely thrown by the sudden formal greeting.
"Princess? Why is Odin waiting for me? Wasn't this just a quick pit stop so you could send me back to Earth via the Bifrost?"
"Miss Kagura, do you realize how hard Prince Thor worked to have your identity recognized by Odin?" Heimdall said, genuinely surprised by her bewilderment.
"You've finally made it to Asgard. Shouldn't you meet your foster father at least once?"
"W-Wha-WHAAAT?!"
Kagura's brain practically shut down at that.
"Identity? Status? What are you talking about?! Foster father?! What kind of fantasy novel am I in now?!"
"Ahahahaha!" Thor burst out laughing again, sounding like the world's most loveable meathead.
"I told you, didn't I? You're my dear sister! And a sister of Thor must, of course, be acknowledged by the All-Father himself."
"This is the perfect chance. Now that you're here, my father can formally recognize and bestow upon you the title."
"It's time for you to become a true Asgardian princess, Sister Kagura. Come on, let's go!"
"UWAAHH—! Wait, wait, wait! What the heck is going on?!"
And just like that, the girl's mind was in chaos...
———————————————————————
Asgard.
The strongest civilization among the Nine Realms. Both ruler and guardian of them all.
Asgard governs, oversees, and protects nine distinct realms, each with their own unique form of civilization.
It sits atop the cosmic structure known as Yggdrasil (The World Tree) and is a society far more advanced than Earth in both technology and power.
Asgard isn't a planet, but a colossal interstellar continent.
Magnificent golden cities rise from the land, so vast and glorious that no Earthly metropolis could ever compare.
They radiate the awe and authority befitting the ruler of the Nine Realms.
Following a long, rainbow-hued road, Kagura walked alongside Thor toward the heart of the realm: the Asgardian palace.
The golden triangular structure towered thousands of meters into the sky.
Standing at its base and looking up, Kagura could hardly believe her eyes.
The palace was grand beyond imagination, like a divine sanctuary carved from the mountain itself—majestic, seamless, and overwhelming to the senses.
"Whoaaa…"
Mouth agape, Kagura was completely awestruck by the splendor of the civilization before her.
So this… this was the might of the Nine Realms' greatest power.
She had often made fun of the Asgardians for their old-fashioned way of fighting—still using swords and shields, flying around in ships that looked like ancient sailboats.
But now that she was here, actually walking in the heart of Asgard…
Even she had to admit: this place was incredible.
Massive anti-gravity platforms floated between the cities, silently flaunting Asgard's advanced technology.
In the skies above the palace, countless flying vehicles moved in perfectly synchronized formations, flowing through invisible airways with machine-like precision.
What amazed Kagura most was how utterly quiet everything was.
Despite the speed and number of crafts zipping through the air, there wasn't even a whisper of engine noise as if they were powered by magic.
The entire city floated in an atmosphere of elegance, wonder, and untouchable grandeur.
"As expected of Asgard…" Kagura murmured. "You guys really are on another level."
"Kagura, did you say something?" Thor glanced at her.
"No, nothing." Kagura shook her head, then grinned. "I was just wondering how a civilization this high-tech still manages to make food that tastes so awful."
"Ah… well…" Thor scratched his head awkwardly. "Maybe it's just a difference in taste?"
Thor couldn't really argue.
He had tasted Earth's food before.
Even the simplest things like mashed potato pies, or those Turkish kebabs the other Avengers couldn't stand, or even soda had opened his eyes to a whole new world.
By comparison, Asgardian cuisine… left much to be desired.

As they followed the gleaming golden path through the palace gates each door taller and wider than seemed reasonable they eventually arrived at the royal throne of Asgard.
"Welcome to Asgard, Kagura Hitomi."
Seated upon the throne was an elderly man with white hair and a long beard.
Odin, King of the Gods.
He wore a regal golden robe, a staff of authority in one hand.
His right eye was hidden beneath an eyepatch an old battle wound from his war against the Frost Giants of Jotunheim, the same race as Loki.
Kagura, unsure of what to say, bowed deeply, trying her best to act composed.
"No wonder Thor is fond of you, Kagura," Odin said calmly, though his words carried great weight. "You possess immense power."
It was clear this god-king had seen through her android body in an instant.
"I was wondering why Thor would take interest in a mere Midgardian. Now I understand."
"Thank you for your kind words," Kagura replied. "I'm just an ordinary person from Earth. I met Thor by chance, that's all."
Her HUD scanned Odin, presenting a brief profile.
[Asgardian Supreme.]
[Exceptional individual.]
[Threat Level: Extreme. Alignment: Neutral]
"Kagura," Odin continued, "Thor has told me much about you. But in the end, the decision to accept the title must be yours."
His tone shifted, growing more formal. "So I must ask: will you accept Thor as your sworn brother, me as your foster father, and become a princess of Asgard?"
"Uh… huh?"
The silver-haired girl tilted her head, involuntarily letting out a confused sound.
"P-Princess?"
'What in the actual—?! I never signed up for this princess thing!'
'Thor! What the hell did you tell them?!'
"Indeed."
Odin struck his staff once against the floor, producing a deep, echoing thud.
"If Thor has named you his sister, then you are by right my daughter and thus, a princess of Asgard."
"Uh… that… sounds… impressive, I guess? But I'm just a girl from Earth…"
Kagura scratched her head, looking genuinely conflicted.
'A Princess of Asgard, huh...'
It really felt like Odin and Thor were digging a massive pit in front of her and now politely asking her to jump in.
"No need for long speeches. Yes, or no?" Odin's voice was firm impatient even.
Was this basically him declaring it a done deal?
"Ugh... fine! I guess I'll graciously accept!" After a moment of careful thought, Kagura nodded.
"At the very least, I don't want to let Thor's efforts and expectations go to waste. And I'm someone who sticks to what I've agreed to."
After all, she had once agreed to let Thor call her his little sister.
And sure, the current situation had escalated at lightning speed and felt ridiculously surreal, but still if Thor had gone so far to make this happen sincerely, she couldn't just turn it down.
Besides... come on. Asgardian princess.
That sounded kinda cool, didn't it?
"Good. Very good," Odin said with a satisfied nod.
"It seems Thor's judgment was right. From this day forward, you will be under my protection."
"As the Princess of Asgard, you are free to travel the Nine Realms with that authority."
Odin's words weren't just ceremonial they carried real divine power.
This wasn't some honorary title with no weight behind it.
Kagura could feel it. A divine aura wrapping around her, Odin's blessing settling into her being.
From now on, she radiated the presence of an Asgardian princess.
'Huh... It actually feels kinda... nice?'
'Maybe this was a huge win?'
And yet, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
'Seriously, what exactly did that knucklehead Thor tell his dad to get him this fired up?!'
'What did he say?!'
She was still nervously mulling it over when—
"By the way, what happened to Loki?" Now officially a princess, Kagura still hadn't forgotten about the infamous prince of Asgard who once brought chaos to Earth.
Technically... he was her older brother now, wasn't he?
"Loki? You want to see him?" Odin's expression shifted slightly, something unreadable flashing in his eyes.
"Well, I suppose that's fair. You fought bravely during the mission to capture him. There's no reason to hide anything from you."
"Very well go pay him a visit. Thor, take her."
"As you wish, Father." Thor bowed slightly, then turned to Kagura with a reassuring smile, resting a hand on her shoulder.
"This way, little sister."
