Marcellus' POV

'What did you do?' The true lord of the North asked him telepathically after he had burnt the human town to the ground.
Marcellus stood outside the town, using his magic to remove any traces of blood or ash on his ironically white suit. It was a gruelling task since he also had to make sure no lingering scent remained.
'Oh, nothing much, my lord.' Marcellus responded to Lord Ryker with a small smirk curling up his lips. 'I just annihilated a small human town that was about to ally itself with Kaelos. But it's all good now.'
There was a few seconds of pause, causing Marcellus to think maybe the telepathic link had been cut off.
But upon further inspection, he found out that it wasn't.
'It's all good now?' Lord Ryker asked with what sounded like disbelief. 'Are you certain you wiped out the town for the reason you stated, or were you just trying to satiate your insatiable desires?'
Well... Ouch.
