"We're here," I announced as I jumped down from the car Layla and I had driven in.
It was nighttime, and in front of us was the burnt-down human town. It was indeed a ghost town now... The ground was filled with ashes and soot, and black smoke was still going into the sky like ominous pillars of death and chaos.
