Kaelos seemed to notice my reaction when he mentioned Tonka's name and glanced at the hair in the plastic bag before he let out a sigh.
"Trust me when I say I wish more than anything that I had the opportunity to rip that bastard limb by limb and then dissect his manhood and force-feed it to him."
I was reeling and shaken when I remembered what Tonka did last night, but my mind immediately came back to reality when I heard Kaelos' vivid words.
My eyebrows snapped into a frown as I looked into his eyes and saw the seriousness in them. The possessiveness. He meant every word he said.
That was oddly comforting and caused my shoulders to relax as I let out a sigh before I shook my head.
"Well, too bad he escaped. Gods know I wish I could shove a dagger through his skull." I said with a shrug before focusing my attention back on the plastic bag. "Anyway, let's get back to this. How do you expect me to track him with his hair?"
