Robert steps outside the building with a sad expression, "This was not as exciting as I thought it was going to be." Robert looks around, and sees how the streets have become quiet already.
Lucas didn't fulfill his expectations, Robert puts his gun on his holster. "It's alright Robert, this was just a small interaction. That can't determine anything yet, just wait a bit longer." He says to himself.
Robert then begins to stretches his arms and shoulders. He should be focused on what happend, the shots that were fired at him weren't from an amateur.
Robert needs to remember that not everything happens accordingly. Ashly is quite good, and he can understand why Donovan couldn't kill her with his partner.
"Remember Robert, you aren't just going after one person. Your target is Ashly, and that boy is just a bonus." He says with a new found smile imagining killing Lucas's parents.
He begins to walk to the direction the window was pointing. He decided that he should take this a bit more serious as he can't let them escape now. As he continues to walk he can hear a small boy crying.
Robert approaches the little boy, "Hey kid, why are you crying?" Robert then kneels down to the boy's level, "Now calm down a bit kid, I'm not that scary looking."
The boy looks up at Robert, "Yes you are, you're a bad person. My parents warned me about bad people, and I'm scared of them." The boy said as he looked at Robert with teary eyes.
"Hey listen, I'm sorry if I scared you, I just need to ask you for a favor. I want you to tell me if you saw a young man, one that has a damaged right ear. I also want to know if you also saw a girl jump from the same window."
Robert waits for the kids respond, he knows he is scared, but the boy is the only one here who saw them or so he thinks.
"Yeah I saw them running, are you going to kill them? Because if you are I'm not going to tell you." The boy said as he started to calm down a bit.
Robert smiles at the little boy and pats his head, "Listen kid, I won't do that to them at all. I promise you I won't, I will scare you if you don't tell me." He says to the boy.
The boy shakes a bit, and lifts his arm to point to the direction Ashly and Lucas ran. "There is where I saw them, just don't do anything bad…please." The boy said.
Robert gives the boy a fake but convincing smile, "Don't worry about that kid, just go and hide somewhere alright. Don't stay in a single place, and try to find safety, if you don't then you are asking for an early grave." Robert says as he stands up.
Before the kid could run Robert grabs the shoulder of the boy. The boy turns to Robert beginning to feel a bit scared.
"I just want to give you some advice that you should follow for the rest of your life. If you give out people just like that many would hate you, and they won't treat you nicely so just scram." Robert says as he pushes the little boy.
The boy screams as he runs away from Robert, this makes him smile at the boy. They must be far away by now, but Robert still takes his time as he just walks towards their direction.
An officer appears but before he could do anything Robert grabs his gun and shots the officer. "That wasn't exiting, I don't want to kill people like these." He says as he walks pass the officers body.
"Oh I forgot." Robert turns around and searches the body of the officer. He grabs the officer's gun and ammunition, he doesn't want to buy more bullets or a new gun anytime soon.
It's been many years since he killed more than 18 people in a single day. Those were the days he had the most fun, but now it's all boring and uninteresting.

"Ashly, the gates where we entered, the horse and my gun I left them around there. I asked them to care for them, we have to get there now." Lucas says as they continue to run.
Lucas then looks at Ashly with a confused expression, "Wait…How did you sneak your gun inside without getting caught?"
"Oh well I have a menthod that I was taught since I was a kid. It might not been the best thing to teach a kid, but hey it's our only safety now." Ashly says as she keeps on looking back every few seconds.
"I just can't help but hate how this saved our lives, I want to complain but not now. Well not until a few days have passed at minimum." She says.
"We won't be this lucky anymore Ashly, we can't rely on luck. We can't confront Robert or even see him anymore, that was my only plan and it failed." Lucas says as he feels a bit frustrated.
"I don't blame you too much for this plan, I myself didn't know he would dodge my bullets either. Anyone else would of died right there, but he is agile and fast, almost unnatural." Ashly says.
"Lucas, just like any other skill or hobby, the more years you spend on it the more experienced you get. That man seems to be in his late 40s, and he is full of confidence, that's not good for us."
"Lucas, listen to me, he is way out of my league, and he knows it. I barely have a decade or so years of experience, but most of it was when I was a kid, I'm nothing to him." She says.
"Well this only means that we are on the run again, we wont be safe anymore. You were being hunted down by a whole gang, but now there is an experienced assassin after us. Ashly, you don't know how bad this is, I can't find my parents anymore as they could be in danger as well. They are in more danger because at least we know who is after us, but my parents don't." Lucas says almost panicking.
Ashly turns around one more time, and spots Robert pointing his gun at them. "You have got to be kidding me." Ashly in the nick of time pulls Lucas down as the bullet barely misses him.
"Thanks Ashly." Lucas says but Ashly tells him she was only doing the bare minimum. Ashly glances back but Robert is gone, this is good for now.
This will be the norm from now on, they will have to look behind themselves every few seconds to survive. This isn't fair for someone like Lucas to experience, he shouldn't suffer because of her own mistakes.
Ashly then pulls Lucas to the right as another bullet is shot. The bullet graces Lucas left arm, "Stay focus Ashly as I'm not as fast as you." Lucas says as he looks at his arm.
"Yeah sorry Lucas, it's just that things are different, I should of known much earlier. My old self would of definitely have brought my gun with me when we went out. I could of killed him as soon as he pulled out the drawing, we wouldn't be in this mess at all." Ashly says.
"I know what you're saying but this is sort of great, you decided to not bring a weapon with people around. Sure it backfired but this is a great step that you're taking, you might actually be able to live a normal life if you try hard enough." Lucas says as he tries to smile, but he is getting tired again.
"Don't say that Lucas, we have other things to worry about now." Ashly keeps on checking behind them every few seconds. Every time they make a turn or so Robert seems to barely be out of her sight. It seems he is moving about the same speed as they are.
Ashly then sees a sparkle of light from the corner of a building. She knows what is going to happen, and pushes Lucas inside a building as another shot is fired.
"Thanks again Ashly, I can't believe how many times I would of died if you weren't here." Lucas says as he tries to catch his breath.
"Yeah your welcome, but we still have to keep on moving. He isn't going to wait for us to catch our breath." Ashly say as they begin to run around the building, they have to find an exit.
"So he uses the reflection of the coin to be able to see them from a corner. That's quite tricky, but with someone like him it will definitely work all the time. He is a skilled man, but it's strange that he isn't shooting at them constantly." Ashly thinks to herself.
He has a revolve which means he can shoot six bullets yet he has only shot four. As they continue to run the decide to jump out from a window that's on the back of the building.
As they do so, Robert is right there waiting for them with a smile. This catches them by surprise, and Ashly pull her gun out to shot at Robert. As she pulls her trigger Robert dodges, and grabs her by her neck, he was faster than she expected.
Ashly is then slammed onto the ground causing her to drop her own gun. Lucas who was pushed back inside grabs the gun, but Robert shots him in the back.
Ashly hears Lucas's scream of agony and her eyes widen. "Don't be too shocked there, I only shot him in the hips. He won't die anytime soon even if you don't get him to the hospital." Robert says.
"Well he could get an infection, but that's not because of me shooting him. Enough of him, Ashly you're a disappointment as well." He says which Ashly seems a bit confused.
"When we first met, you seemed like the one person who could understand me. You are now different, you're just like the others." Robert says.
He then begins to choke Ashly, "Where did you go Ashly? Where is that cold heart of yours? Were is that killer intent that I know you have? You aren't Ashly." He says.
Ashly tries to free herself, she is struggling as he is strong, "I know you are definitely the type to risk everything if it means you get to survive." Robert's face is of pure sadness.
Ashly begins to scratch his arms but it does nothing to him. Ashly then attempts to kick Robert's balls, and she does but it does nothing.
"That won't hurt me as much as you would expect, I experienced far worse pain. Even if it did hurt a lot I wouldn't let you go." He says as he chokes her harder.
Lucas grabs Ashly's gun and points it at Robert. Robert turns to Lucas, and he shots Robert in the arm. Robert lets go of Ashly, and he stands up quickly.
Lucas is caught off guard that he is ignoring the pain, he can't be stunned by a second. Lucas then shots again, but Robert dodges it and grabs his gun.
"You are bold, you're so bold." Robert says as he grabs Lucas, and knees him in the face. Ashly can hear a loud crack, and she knows that Lucas's nose was broken.
"You don't like that now do you Lucas? Now imagine how much pain it caused me." Robert says as he lifts Lucas up, his face is bleeding, and he is tearing up. Robert then gives Lucas a hard punch to his stomach.
Lucas spits out blood, "I was a bit wrong, this is exiting after all." Robert says with a sigh of relief, Lucas is clutching his stomach in pain.
Robert then throws Lucas out of a window, the glass cuts Lucas's arms. Ashly stands up and jumps out of a different window. "Remember Robert, don't make this too short. You need to savor it as long as possible, don't ruin the fun." He says.
Robert then steps outside, "Oh it's just like when I was a little kid, it's very nostalgic." Robert says as he looks at Lucas in the ground. He is gasping for air, and trying to not cry. Ashly is trying to help him get up as she doesn't want Lucas to die.
