"The girl," Miranda said quietly, her tone laced with disdain as she crossed her arms, eyes narrowing.
"This is the first time I'm seeing her here. It's like she just dropped out of the sky..."
"From your voice, I can tell you hate her," one of the girls nearby remarked, watching Miranda closely.
Miranda nodded with a long sigh. "I do. I don't know what it is, but everything about her irritates me."
"Hmm… that sigh says it all," a deep male voice sounded from behind.
Miranda turned around, and her annoyed expression softened into a beautiful smile.
Standing just a few feet away was a tall guy with a cocky grin and a calculating gaze.
He always had a knack for showing up when drama brewed.
"So what are we going to do, then? Huh?" he asked, stepping closer to the group.
Miranda shook her head slowly, her fingers tightening around her arms. "I don't know. But what I do know is—I want her to suffer."
She glanced away for a moment, clearly remembering something unpleasant.
