Just as the plane drove out to the runway, we went back into the previous area and took a seat at one of the tables.
The armchairs were plush and comfortable, even better than the first-class seating in a commercial airliner. I turned the seat to face out of the window while Christian picked up a tablet from the table.
A few moments later, we were already in the air.
"Ah, that's always so cool to me. We're literally flying in the air right now. It's almost magical," I said, not hiding my enthusiasm.
My eyes only left the window once we were up over the clouds, but before I could say anything, the stewardess walked over with a large tray.
"Here is what you requested," she said, placing the tray on the table in front of us. As soon as she finished, she turned around and left promptly.
The tray was filled with tea and pastries, along with a few finger sandwiches.
