Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: Kurenai Yuhi, Genjutsu

Chapter 44: Kurenai Yuhi, Genjutsu

Kurenai Yuhi was a beautiful and experienced kunoichi who had seen a lot in her life.

But even she couldn't quite figure out what Sasuke was thinking.

There was something about this Uchiha Sasuke—besides being handsome and ridiculously powerful, there was this aura of wickedness around him.

He didn't seem like a decent person at all!

...

And she wasn't wrong.

What she couldn't have guessed was that Sasuke would actually dare to lay a hand on her.

"Now that Hinata and the others aren't here," Sasuke spread his hands, looking relaxed. "Let's spar."

"In the ninja world, strength is everything."

"Only when you're strong do your words carry weight."

Even in the original series, Naruto's Talk no Jutsu usually came after he beat the enemy.

Before that, no one cared what he said.

But after he defeated them, they'd go: "Wow! Naruto was right!"

So!

Sasuke wanted to claim the mature and stunning Kurenai Yuhi and make her a part of his growing harem.

To do that, he had to overpower her first!

Kurenai was still completely unaware of how serious this situation was. She calmly said, "Uchiha Sasuke, I'm not Kiba Inuzuka or Shino Aburame."

"But to me, you're no different," Sasuke replied coldly.

"Forget it. I'll make the first move."

"So fast—"

Kurenai didn't expect Sasuke to move so aggressively.

Up to this point, she naively thought he only wanted to spar with ninjutsu.

She had no idea Sasuke was eyeing her gorgeous, seductive body.

As she moved to block, she realized Sasuke had wrapped around her arm like a twisting vine.

"Genjutsu?"

Ever since the Uchiha clan was wiped out, Kurenai's genjutsu had become the best in the village.

She gave a sharp cry.

"Break!"

But she couldn't break free from Sasuke's genjutsu.

Instead, Sasuke laughed mockingly.

"Kurenai, don't you get it yet?"

"This is Mangekyō Sharingan-level genjutsu. Not the third-rate crap you're used to."

His words left her frozen in shock.

"Sasuke! Stop! What do you think you're doing?!"

This Sasuke, still so young, looked like a proper, decent man.

Kurenai finally snapped out of it.

So he chased Shino and Kiba away just so he could do something shameless to her!

"Sasuke, you're despicable!"

"Even if I can't beat you, aren't you afraid of the Hokage?!"

Even as a Jonin of Konoha, she couldn't handle this pervert Sasuke.

So she had to pull out the Hokage card.

But she had underestimated Sasuke.

"Heh, the Third Hokage already agreed to let me build a harem. He believes my talent is so extraordinary that the Uchiha bloodline should be passed on with as many kunoichi as possible."

"Kurenai, you're incredible. Be my woman."

Sasuke kept trying to persuade her.

"Nonsense!"

Kurenai couldn't believe a single word.

But she was already struggling to handle Sasuke's touch.

She had never been in love, and she wasn't a match for someone like Sasuke.

Sasuke already had Sakura, Ayame, Ino, Tsubaki, and Hinata—five women in his harem.

Now, with Kurenai, she would be the sixth.

Sasuke was full of experience!

He could adapt to any situation. He didn't need to conquer Kurenai today.

But he had to make serious progress.

Otherwise, next time she'd be on high alert.

He had to strike while the iron was hot!

Sasuke smirked. "Kurenai, looks like you've underestimated me."

"Think about it. If you were Hokage..."

"I'm young, and I already possess power surpassing the Hokage. My talent is even scarier than the legendary Uchiha Madara!"

"If you were Hokage, what would you do?"

His words made Kurenai snap back to reason.

But then her body started to feel feverish, and she blushed, trying to stop him. "Sasuke, stop touching me."

"Nope!"

Sasuke refused like a brat. "You're so beautiful, so amazing—you have to be my woman."

Kurenai was still dwelling on the question: if she were Hokage...

Sasuke's power was beyond terrifying. If she were the Third Hokage, that would be an insane amount of pressure.

Seeing her thinking, Sasuke leaned in and said, "The Third Hokage had three students—Orochimaru, Tsunade, and Jiraiya."

"Orochimaru was the most talented, obsessed with experiments, and ended up betraying the village. Now he's an S-rank threat."

"Tsunade, the healer, is mentally fragile and has run away from Konoha for years."

Sasuke kept whispering into her ear, "Now only Jiraiya remains. He's still a legendary ninja of Konoha. Loyal and dependable."

Kurenai understood instantly.

Sasuke was too domineering!

But he was also too exceptional—not only powerful but clever, dangerously so.

"Kurenai, for the sake of the village, and for your own happiness—be with me!"

"Unlike Jiraiya, I'm a playboy, sure—but I'm loyal. Be my woman, and I'll take care of you for life."

...

Even though Sasuke's words were shameless, in Kurenai's ears, they somehow carried a strange allure.

She found her will weakening against them.

"Sasuke, did you put me under a genjutsu?"

Kurenai continued, "What I mean is—did your genjutsu somehow control my will?"

Ordinary genjutsu couldn't reach this level.

But Kurenai was a Jonin specializing in genjutsu—she knew the terrifying power of the Uchiha clan's techniques.

Especially the Sasuke standing before her now—his talent was monstrous.

Sasuke gave her a strange look and then laughed. "If I wanted to control your will with genjutsu, I would've done it from the start."

"Why would I bother explaining anything to you?"

"..."

Kurenai heard his explanation but wasn't sure if it was true or not.

Still, her emotions began to crumble.

If Sasuke was telling the truth, and all that shameless talk earlier about adding her to his harem wasn't under genjutsu...

Then did that mean Kurenai actually let him get away with it of her own free will?

Her pride couldn't accept such a reality.

"Sasuke, let me go."

Kurenai made one last attempt to resist.

Sasuke thought for a moment—if he let go now, all his efforts might be wasted. He had to see it through tonight.

Kurenai was a Konoha Jonin—not someone easy to trick like Sakura or Hinata.

"No."

Sasuke was utterly domineering. "You still haven't given me an answer."

He smiled. "Kurenai, do you think there's anyone in the village more outstanding than me?"

Kurenai was helpless. Sasuke had been all over her for a while now—her brain was practically shutting down.

"That's not what I meant... I barely even know you, Sasuke. Besides, I don't judge a partner purely on strength."

Sasuke pressed the attack. "Even by looks, I'm probably the most handsome man in Konoha, right?"

This guy had no shame at all!

"Sasuke, this can't happen between us... There's no love here."

That seemed to tick Sasuke off.

He realized that every time he wanted to win over a woman quickly, he had to mix pressure with sweet talk—just being nice never worked.

"Kurenai, what do you mean 'can't happen'?"

Sasuke said boldly, "In my eyes, if I want something, there's no such thing as impossible!"

As he spoke, he started going even further with her body.

"..."

Kurenai could no longer fight back.

...

First of all, Sasuke was damn handsome.

Second, he was insanely strong!

...

"Heh... my lovely wife."

"Come on, I'll take you home."

Sasuke was always very good to his women.

...

Kurenai never expected that Sasuke would help her dress, then carry her in a princess hold back to her home.

Then he personally bathed her and even went into the kitchen to cook her dinner.

At this hour, it was more like a late-night snack.

Kurenai was in disbelief. The food before her looked and smelled amazing.

"Sasuke, you made this?"

Sasuke smiled. "Go ahead, eat. It's not poisoned."

"Kurenai, from now on, as my woman, all you need to do is be damn happy."
