The light was distant, and some ways off into the distance for sure.
A pale shimmer at first, stretching maybe two miles ahead, yet unnatural enough to catch Adam's eye through the endless corridor of stone and iron bars. It pulsed, like the beat of a heart.
"I will take it that it is a good sign."
Adam said, as he went on all fours like a dog, as his pupils dilated, and he saw into the distance.
"This will be a good time to test out that werewolf strength for sure."
Said Adam as he began to exhale slowly, the air around him vibrating with tension. Then, without warning, his body began to shift.
