"Don't be afraid, come here, little Koby," Grandpa Caldwell said gently, urging him not to look at the pests and to come closer to them.
Little Koby ran as fast as he could and hid behind Grandpa Caldwell.
There were many pests crawling on the balcony, which frightened him greatly.
"Bwother Koby, come hewe," Little Mia called, wanting to hide along with her friends.
Elena didn't let them enter the space, believing that they needed to acclimate to it and learn to adapt to this kind of disaster.
Afterwards, everyone quickly sprang into action.
Elena retrieved a handful of pesticide that she had brought earlier and handed it to them to apply around the balcony door.
"Once you're done, go check the corridor and assess the situation," Grandpa Caldwell instructed, worried they might be besieged if they didn't take action outside their unit.
"Alright, let's spray pesticide in the corridor. And let's check our unit too. Remember, don't let those pests bite you," Elena warned.
